Why do they hate my Yoshi, or why don't they accept my challenges? I don't really know the answer to either of them.

As for why they hate my Yoshi, I think THEY think my Yoshi is sloppier than it actually is. Plus I have a much, much different play style from the likes of Bwett, lilb, Stocky, and Mmac (due in large part to my use of Tap Jump).

Egg Toss jumping and ledge-canceled Egg Tosses. Most Yoshi players can't perform an Egg Toss before performing their second jump (since the "up" from their up B also activates and immediately cancels Yoshi's second jump), thus limiting their recovery.

I discovered how to perform Egg Toss jumps with Tap Jump on, though, making the restriction much less severe for me and at the same time allowing a lot more Egg Toss slides and DRs in my game. In other words, there are things they can do better with their method of play, and there are things I can do better with mine, and they don't realize that it wouldn't behoove me to copy them.

Well, like I said, the perceived value of having Tap Jump off is a lot less significant with other players than it is with Yoshi.

We're talking to the point where people familiar with Tap Jump in Yoshi's game equate it to suicide... (And I'm not just being dramatic, either.)
