When someone who doesnt play smash hears a smasher said: "Oh no not Bacon!! dude that bacon is so unfair!!" one will inmidiatelly think hes ******** or has fear of REAL bacon

Final smash is the ACTUAL name, and has a ring to it, being the strongest move in the characters arsenal, theres a reason its called Final smash, cause it could be THE final smash attack u get before losing...

They both sound utterly stupid. But BACON is more original.

My main problem with the term Bacon is that it just feels like an incredibly random name and the term it's abbreviated just seems like a forced and awkward mixture of words that honestly sounds really dumb. And while all these bacon related jokes sound cool now, the novelty would wear off before long.

And I don't see what's to gain from it besides some silly phrases. Most people would likely refer to it as a Final or Super if they want an abbreviation, or even FS if they were feeling really lazy.

Frankly I've no problem with other people calling in that, I just don't feel the 'magic' about it and I really don't think it'll catch on in the long run.

Edit: also, you've spelt 'Brilliantly' wrong in the Bacon.

We need to come up with a term that is not trying to be funny, I mean, after we are good and we hear it on the boards 10000 times a day, we would wish we had a non awkward, good all around name for a move..

Although I doubt we will see it in tournaments at all

I would hate to be winning and then all of a sudden I die, and there is nothing I can do about it.. in a real match for the possibility of money! Not only the money part of it, but think, that is no fun that the worse but luckier player wins

I'll probably only use the term BACON in three cases:

1: If i'm too lazy to say/type Final Smash.
2: If i'm around someone who's acting like a douchebag know-it-all but is really a noob, I'll say it so that they say"What does that mean", and then i'll be a jerk to them and go "OMG WTF you don't know what BACON is, god what a n00b, go kill yourself."
3: If i want to be even more immature than 2^, if i execute a Final Smash on the annoying kid I could be like "Oh yeah how do like having Snakes BACON all in your face. Yeah, that dude just put his BACON right in your face. How's that guy's BACON taste in your mouth".

I usually don't act immature so I'll rarely use 2 and 3, but I am lazy so 1 could happen alot.

How about just calling it a "Final." Or maybe just calling it the actual name, like "Mario Finale" or "Volt Tackle." Maybe abbreviate those into "MF" and "VT."

B.A.C.O.N. should be locked away in the Smash vault and never taken out again. I have nothing against it, personally, but if not everyone can accept it, then it shouldn't apply.
