Cool people (that means RUBICONS, no less) will go to this so it's worth it if you go. House is completely empty and thus will be in my full control... which means it's open for Smash, heh. Em, this is the perfect time to play Silent Hill, so bring the PS2 + gear if you wanna do that. ^___^

It's a stupid hobo rule designed to make the players who can't be stuffed learning to snake well have a decent chance. Remember, the regulars pay to keep the store open, so they get to choose the rules.


Cao, if you can, find some way to get e2g to hold a smash tournament for when I'm in Melbourne. That way I can walk up to the Kreation n00b and tell him to his face that I was true to my word, and came to an e2g smash tournament from Perth.

My real house is the same place you know of Ryan, you know.... the place you're scared to walk in broad daylight, hahaha! Also, E2 won't host another Smash Tourney, but you're still welcome to visit the store and try talk some sense into Kreation.... nah, it's futile. Some people were born stupid. Just tell him E2's the most convenient place in the world because it sits next to a bus terminal... E2's just a 4 hour plane trip away for you - so bloody convenient, ja? Cus its next to a bus stop, and a tram.

As for who, I suppose it depends on who you'd prefer to use yourself, so Ino is my first choice of course, but Zabuza is one NASTY buddy, so maybe him if you choose a faster character. Cover my gaps and such. Tell me and we'll form a few strats.

E2 Games: "Beat the Champ" night. 19th (yesterday) of August 2005. Games on offer to beat the designated champ at: Mortal Kombat II (X-Box), Dr Mario (SNES), *chortles* F-Zero GX (GCN), and GoldenEye (N64). Rules - Beat the champ under their given rules, on their game of choice, and win the chance to draw from the lucky-dip box, and pull out a piece of paper describing your prize.

1. Mortal Kombat II - Picked up a control when no-one was looking, got mauled by the CPU, and left it at that..

2. Dr Mario - 1st challenger for the night! Haha! Lost horribly (3 stocked), but then came back later in the night and floored Joe, the store manager and 'champ' (1vs3 wins).

3. F-Zero GX - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OMG WTF are you kidding me?! Yeah, I kinda just won by a small margin.

4. GoldenEye - 2nd win for me in the night, early lead, but lost it, then regained to win 7-10, first to 10 pts, 1 hit kills, pistols, level: Complex.

In other news, I had a really nice night and me and Nick, and some of his friends had a good chat. I met some of the guys I play Counter Strike with regularly in person, and we had a good laugh at some experiences and shared stories. Wish you guys coulda come but yeah, moving on to the "haul" I got.

Win from GoldenEye got me a voucher for a game to the value of $40
Win from F-Zero GX got me a voucher for a game to the value of $50
Win from Dr Mario got me a voucher for a game to the value of $40

Total available prize pool across 3 wins, of $130.00

However, I had my eye on Metroid Zero Mission, which cost about 70 I think, so I cashed in the 50 and a 40 because he 'wasn't supposed to let me do that'. And with my remained $40 credit, I picked up Wave Race Blue Storm for GCN, which is surprisingly good. Only cost $30, but I dont really care, I technically had about 30 left of credit, but I dont mind. It cost me $12 to enter and I got $100 of goods.

Went to Killen's place last night, had heaps of fun. Did a great deal of smash, mainly 3/4 way melee's, but it was fun. Also gave Mario party 6 a shot. Was cool. He seemed interested in improving, so hopefully we'll see him at a tournie/smashfest whenever the next one is (Dec 3?)

I don't trust you to turn up. I said specifically after that failure of a smashfest, that I will NOT host any large meets until someone else hosts one, and I'm sticking to my word.

Effectively, I just want proof that people are interested in coming to one, before I try.


Aside from those things, I think I'll work for Dad during uni break, just to earn some money till some of my applications get processed. SEAT here I come!

I think it's adequate concidering you SAID you were coming, that Kenton posted RIGHT AFTER about Dota and no one turned up. So I think the harshness is fair. And the whole not hearing anything from you, or josh for that matter makes it pointless if we hold one and you guys dont check SWF for a week and it ends up being me and Ryan again.

Yes I have been spending a lot of time playing wc3 because smash is currently getting a little worn out for me at the moment, most of us have grown tired of the game at least once before and not touched it for a while. I'm not saying I've quit smash or anything, its just a break thats all, so that I can come back to the game and start enjoying it again rather than straining my interest in the game.

Again, same thing. Except he hasn't said that he would like to play smash. Therefore, I have no reason to invite him to a tournament.

After speaking to Kenton, he didn't seem to comment on anything smash related, so I don't know about him either. Timmy and Evan don't post here, so I'd need to contact them myself if I was to get them to come. Even Killen, V (Killen's friend), Idle and Mothy I would contact myself. But none of them have said that they are taking a break from smash (although a lot of them already are, whether by their fault or their lack of a scene to do so in).

All in all, I know that me and Mic would turn up, and now you. There's a decent chance that Killen, Timmy and Evan might want to come, although Killen and Timmy have no car to do so in. Not much of a tourney really, 3 definites and a few 'meh's?

Anyway, I've ranted all I'm going to. See you guys next smashfest!

Communications stuff.

Thanks to the Deakin Uni gods, I have managed to get a deferral from Uni. This means that getting info about Smash meets will be difficult, but not impossible. Hopefully CAO can keep me up to date. I might be able to use the 'net at a friends house from time to time.

But I will be coming to SEAT. And prehaps planning another meet at my house on the 15th of October. But that can change, I'm flexiable.

- Catch the Frankston Line train.
- Get off at Parkdale.
- Walk for about 3 minutes (5, if you're extra slow) to his address. I will PM registered people with Divine Crono's Address closer to the date, or in Mikul's case, just ring him.

Heh, thanks to the Melbourne Uni gods, I have an examination on my second week of Semester break - Clearly Pichu tier. Nice to see you can make it Mikul. People need to start organising their teams; so far there is 2. I'll also release the speific ruleset for singles, and I aim to make it the most real representation of skill ever seen here (cus it's clear Sam is not 6th, etc... XD)
