Good.
Step 1: Find a venue...and mum knows several...-.-
Step 2: Get enough money to pay to borrow it for a day.
Step 3: Argue that I do NOT want to charge an entry fee, this argument is doomed to failure.
Step 4: Find a day and time.
Step 5: Discover hotels for everyone...I can hold up to 3 people here..I think...
Step 6: Organise, then release the date, time, and suggestions for hotels.
Step 7: Choose the lucky three who will get to be at my house...for FREE...
Step 8: (Insert step here)

plan to have it mid next year, cos with the December tourney and the Swedish tourney coming up, ill be out of funds for a long time.

If it actually gets off the ground, then I would come to Sydney. I'll probably be driving. More than likely. Room for 3 in my car including luggage if anyone wants to jump in. Shaz, Em and Cella I'm looking at you, but if you dont want, its up for grabs to others.

Anime is boring - let's go to Sydney to Smash and Chill - I want another Smash holiday. Max, if you want I propose you make it after the time Jarryd and Sloth visit Melbourne (around the Manifest period (23-25 Sep) - first week of September Break) and before the Perth Tournament. You could probably squeeze it in the week after Manifest if you want so it'll be so cool, yeeaaaaa!
Hey Mikul, Divine_Crono is still in the business of organising the next big meet, but expect it anywhere between 22-25 of September - it's a while away - but more people will attend then usual. So I hope. Otherwise **** you all.
Chances are we'll be crashing at your place for Smash long before then anyways, which is very cool.

Well hopefully I can actually fit it in while Sloth is in Melbourne, if he wants to come to Aus.
Otherwise probably in the second week of holidays, high possibility 3-4-5-6 of my friends will be there, trying to escape their siblings. ^_______^. Or in Adam's case, trying to play Smash.

Other thn that, I cannot really offer more information yet. Plus the Opera House is in the city...WAAYYY too long to get to.

Max, please do not have your big tourney until after Feb next year, otherwise i wont be able to come.
seeing as perth already has a nation wide tourney planned for december, and then some of us are planning to go to sweden next january, most of us will be out of funds and wont be able to make it, and i really want to come.
so schedual it for next year sometime, that way we all have lots of time to make room for it and we can all have enough money to actually make it.
and jon, are you sure your tank of a commodore can survive the drive from melbourne to sydeny without falling apart
although it did pretty well with you, me, ryan, mic and josh + all our luggage inside it.

A ten minute-long footage from the E2 Smash Tournament is now available from the E2 site in live stream format. Appearances include CATS schooling Rob the interviewer, JM winning, CAOTIC downplaying his chances and glorifying Emily (WIFE wannabe), and random n00bs eating pizza and playing n00b Smash. I'll post details on the next Melbourne Tournament real soon folks - dates are set in stone (22nd-23rd of September) .
Max, have the tournament whenever, and I'll try to make it. Are you still planning on coming to our one in December?

We need more smashfests guys! At this rate, we'll lose to melbourne in the December crews! Cao tells me they're having regular smashfests, whereas we just have regular lanning-fests. -_-
I propose, for those with uni timetables, to find a site to upload them, and link them here. That way, we can find common free time for smash.

It's not about how well you do, it's about the fun you have. It's unbelievably fun to come up against new smashers. Doesn't matter what their skill level is, as long as you have fun learning new strategies, testing out your own, proving your own technical skills and mindgames, and having people punishing you for things that you don't get punished for at home, simply because they play differently and are used to different strategies and such. It's an amazingly great feeling to have a close match with another good smasher and be able to turn around and say 'good game', roughly 6 minutes after you said 'hello'.

Why isn't it held on a weekend? *.* cos everyone is busy then?

I used the "EDIT" button on my post before the second one in the row, and couldn't be stuffed editing agian.Why does it matter if i posted after it agian anyway someone else Example emily posting after it would have gone onto a new page anyway so you cant just blame it on me lol!

I'm assuming you haven't read forum rules Sebastian. Double and triple posting (and so forth) are not allowed, and you'll only get away with it here because no mod bothers with our thread.

Josh, stop playing WC3! We need to knuckle down and work out our set of rules and such, plus dates and accomodation, sources of TVs, location of beer fridges, everything!
Also, Seb, short pointless posts like that are, well, short and pointless (and posts). Keep things like that to MSN, and post important information here, so that people who don't come here for a week or two suddenly don't have to waft through a sea of spam (also against the rules) to get to anything important.

My place is free for about two months to play smash.
