[Sloth]

Hi Emily.

Freddo didn't go to OHN5, but Me, Jaz, Bringer, King Kong, NG7 and Scrubs all went.

There wasn't many new faces at all playing, so it was rather small tournament, that consisted of Singles/Teams. With Bringer winning.

I head off to Melbourne tomorrow, will be at Gloths. Hopefully I can meet up with some of you.

The idea of EI2 was sorta for around December time, so it's quite likely that I can still do it and not clash much at all with Cao's tourney. The question I guess would be the numbers of interstaters. I know for certain KK would only go to 1 tourney, and that melbourne would probably be the choice one to go to. As for others, I don't really know.

So yeah, the idea's not in the dirt yet.

Fight night? I tried it a couple times never liked it due to over use of joystick use and resulting awkwardness. I'd rather press a button to do a jab or punch at the screen if it was out for the wii.

Our household has 2 standard hori sticks, one of those anniversary SF (giant mofo) sticks, and an arcade pro. A lot of new people picking up using sticks hehe.

I'll be at Manifest again this year, I'm not really involved anymore, but the gf is still heavily into it meaning I'm her ***** for the weekend. The current organiser seems to be a little... umm, unorganised but there has been discussion of a Smash tourny. I'll make sure to say hi and play a couple of games if you guys camp there again this year.

As for the poor showing at OHNS for Smash, thats a pity. It really should be held in Melbourne, as that is clearly where all the cool people gravitate to. Seriously though, if there was a decent scene up in Sydney, imagine the combining the crowd at OHNS with you Smashers who all showed for the tounry at Melbourne Uni a while back. Would set a **** nice foundation for a yearly event it would.

Shaz man, I just hope your still willing to host meets from time to time, so I can get my FE back and give you yours back, complete with godly LA team. To Clydes credit he has some good ideas for this year, but if you want him to get a move on I'd suggest pestering him on the Mani boards yourself. I've shown enough disdain for this years committee enough as it is.

I am not sure how to play smash without Alcohol. Was drunkish playing Gloth all last night.

His net is down for now, but he said he could possibly host something friday or saturday.
So yeah. Right now I am in town, gonna go meet up with a friend.
