Eh, they're pretty crappy matches. Those were when I was still learning my controller, I reckon I'm a lot better now.

Hey pete, we should, we like grew up together with our new devices. Once my movement becomes fluent with my controller, and pika ALWAYS does what i mean for him to do, ill start learning DI again. Then we'll record some decent vids, coz going over our ones again they are mighty terrible. Should record with Judas too, show everyone that Aussies can keep up.

Btw james why do u use ****ty DK now, ur ness is good, we had some close matches way back when.

...I will choose to take this quite immaturely.

Also, ciaza, use someone else already. Pika gets boring eventually. I know, since I started out with him. Pick up Falcon or Mario, maybe.

Also, I hate Link v Pika matchups :\

I am, I'm trying to do the one where you sprint off the edge and immediatly go into a uair. Its difficult to be fast and precise. I eith sprint and do a fair, or sprint off, do my second jump and uair at the same time by accident.

You need to sort of quarter circle slide the control stick from the direction you're running in to the up position, with the same amount of pressure on the stick as if you were trying to do an uptilt. Takes a bit of practice to do consistently without thinking, but it's essential in the long run if you want to compete at a higher level of play.

Blackshadow summed it up nicely...I don't think I ever thought about that, I just kept trying until it felt right.

Gogo keyboard and its frame-perfect double pressing...

Kb is better for smash Di, but not for slide.

Also thanks Shadow, I tried to learn by letting the anaolg snap back into place and then move into uair position but found the quater circle much easier. I can do it roughly 50-50 now, just need to practise until it's second nature. Its fantastic for combos on hyrule, either slamming them into the tower or sprinting off the middle onto the left of the stage.

Once thats down, I need to work on fast-falling my shuffles, especially on the tiny jumps.

SHFFLS are ONLY shorthops. (Shorthop Fast-Fall L-Cancel)

And you can't fastfall during moves in the N64 version of Smash, only before or after. Doing so in a shorthop is only practical with Luigi, with others it's nearly impossible to do effectively a la Melee where you can fastfall whenever you want. Otherwise, anything bigger than a shorthop, learning to fastfall aerials is very key. It requires you to input a fastfall and very quickly move the joystick to the required aerial attack's position.

Fastfalled uairs will probably be the last one you learn :p
