Assassin in Altea Mafia Game Start (Long Live the King)

An unique micro setup I wanted to try, basically there are 6 players. One player being the King, four players being the King's Guard, and the last player being an assassin. The assassin's goal is to take out the king, they don't need to survive to do this. The guard must keep the king safe from assassination. Each of the King's guard knows who the King is, but that's it. Keep it a secret though, as if the Assassin figures out who the King is, they can use their one shot kill to win the game, even after they are lynched. Given its such a small game that can end quickly, I feel nobody would mind this game appearing out of nowhere.

There are no night phases in the game, a phase only ends when a majority lynch occurs.

You have a one-shot assassination attempt, which you can make at any point in the game (even after being lynched).
Win condition:
You win if you assassinate the king, regardless of whether you are lynched.

You have no abilities, but your survival is crucial to the kingdom. It is your job to avoid the assassination attempt.
The Guards all know your identity, but you do not know theirs.
Win condition:
You win if you survive the assassination attempt.

Abilities:
It is your duty to protect the King who is [Player Name] from being assassinated.

With everyone confirmed, the game will commence!

It seems to be a peaceful day in Altea, 2 years have passed since the War of the Shadows. With Jeigan's age getting the better of him, he requests Marth to form a new royal guard. Luckily, Marth found just the platoon to handle this task. On the day of the ceremony, just as the platoon are appointed knights, a soldier rushes in interrupting the ceremony.

"S-Sire, Sir Jagen, Prince Marth, IT'S AN ATTACK! ALTEA CASTLE IS UNDER ATTACK!" exclaimed Marshy the Soldier

"I will assume command, you lot stay here and protect the Prince" Jagen replies.

Just as Jagen leaves, Marshy the soldier collapses. Oh no, there's an assassin among us. Protect the Prince!

I would rather have more indepth discussion then sudden lynching.

After all the game ends when the assassin uses their one shot, even if we successfully lynch them.

We are better off discussing things and throwing multiple ideas onto the board to get people to tick then narrowing the pool of suspects for both the assassin and the king.
