Well, he is dressed in his warioware costume, not in his traditional yellow wario suit, so this must be for something.
The introduction of a warioware stage in Brawl and the song also suggest that they are not overlooking that franchise, or treating it slightly.
I'm just saying that Wario isn't JUST representing that... there have been more Warioland games than Wario ware any way.
Neither was roy when he was added in Melee. You must be thinking why i use so much the roy example... but is the fact that he was just a mere marketing move...so this says that there are exception to the rules.
Ashley would not be the same case, as wariware is already out and kicking, but who knows, if they wanna create some more hype and importance in the wario games, this would be a good move. In my eyes,,,Wario is getting a lot more emphasis lately, so i would be not surpised of a weird move here.
Roy was put there because it was like a great return of a great franchise that had immense popularity inside the place it was released in. He represented that because he was the main lord of the new game. And it really isn't getting that much more I mean its like adding Louie to the Pikmin franchise.
I dont know if there is a new wario game.. but for sure they will come i have no doubt about it. Wario ware games are doing relatively well on the WII. The difference with ashley is that she is in a current succesfull franchise which Nintendo is doing some effort to create a fan base. Because of this you see also a wario game on DS. If wario ware is doing fine, i dont see the inclution of ashley a weird move.
Well of course there will be a new one but the characters within it haven't proved worthy enough to actually come to smash bros... apart from Wario (Of course) considering everything before that.
Yeah, maybe she is not the protagonist of the series, but that doesnt matter too much. If sakurai wants her to be important from now on, he can do that easily. Look at what he did with the fir emblem series. Marth went totally from a Mr unknown (outside japan) to even have a remade game. And yea, i know that melee´s appearance was not the critical point in the FE success , but im very sure it helped a whole lot.
Well considering Marth only owed his popularity to the west because they have never heard of him thats a very different situation. And in the WW franchise they don't really have any need to push a certain character apart from Wario himself... unlike Zelda with Tingle.
well, for me 3 girls (zelda, peach, samus) in a bunch of 25 characters is not a whole lot sincerely. And yes, female representation is needed, not that i die for it, but we need to take in consideration that smash is not like halo or street fighter, smash is a party game and well females usually go for females characters too. A lot of guys have preference for female characters in video games also, so more females woudnt hurt the game in any way.
No it wouldn't but it is by no means a very strong point for character support... its is a means (Like I said) to back up a character but it isn't as strong as say... a villain point. And also many other franchises have potential females... not EVERY franchise has to have a female in it.
Wow O_O..........Well nothing to say here, totally different tastes. And i like waluigi also, I sometimes use him and wario in mario partys just to annoy the other players...as everyone dislikes those 2 guys so much that they hate when i win with them.
I hate Waluigi and he doesn't deserve a place any were near Brawl... but he is still a better choice than her.
