I've been trying to get one for about a year and a half... but something always brings it just out of my range (last year it was Wii and college) but this year I have a good job, and I'm settign money aside.

I'm getting the Wacom Intuos 3 6x8 which runs around $330 and I'll have enough right around my bday.

Mine was at best buy for $70

did you get a bamboo? my friend wanted me to settle for one of those, but all my artist friends said it would be worth it to get the intuos... if you did get a bamboo how does it compare to pencil/paper drawing?

Bamboo is a wacom, it's a wacom bamboo instead of say a wacom intuos. but 70 bucks is great if it performs well... thats just what i wanted to know.

Nice, good choice. I've got an old Intuos2 LE in that size, I couldn't be happier with it.

I've tried the 4x6 Graphire, and if Bamboos are anything like them (Bamboo is the new "budget" line of Wacom tablets after Graphires were discontinued), then they provide a good amount of functionality especially considering the price. Lightyears ahead of a mouse, at any rate, though not quite as sensitive as an Intuos.

Welp I'd like more critiques on my drawing. I like ExMachina's and everyone else's are neat. I should've taken note to do something more epic, since all I did was a standard pose. Well, here's mine. There's two versions, one with and one without a background. It's the same Metaknight in each image though, so it's a matter of if you like my background or not. Take your pick. lol

I'm not a wizard at Photoshop like you guys are , this is all by hand.

It's not finished, need to touch up a couple bits here and there I'll add more colour when I find my pens lol. But you get the idea..

It's not as professionally done as the other entries, but I enjoyed drawing it !

Wow.... the other Ex! I think the real question is, do you remember me? I just played Brawl for the first time earlier today so I figured I'd visit the ol' forums and see how things have changed. I haven't really frequented here in a long time, but it didn't take too long to head back to the Art Emporium, which is where I spent all my time back then... back when you had a killer sig shop running. Great work as usual, by the way, you always were the best. Man, has it been a while. Oh well, nice to see a familiar face. I wonder who else is still around?

Yeah, same old sig. I thought about a revamp, but that top hat still makes me smile. Yeah, I noticed TM was still around, but that's been it. I meant to look at the mods and see if people like Crimson King and Mic were still lounging about, but I forgot. A reunion would be nice.

Nope, I haven't done much since I lost PS. I am in charge of making posters for a couple organizations on campus, but that's just quick PP kind of stuff. I tried spriting for a while, but otherwise I've played a lot of golf and listened to a TON of music. I don't think that they are more productive, but they are pastimes.
