hey gimpy i just noticed this thread and im interested on participating here is my style of metaknight mario strikers style ,i started by hand drawing the out lines ,ink it ,then scan and paint it on photoshop , made some tweaks on the helmet to make him more badass, hope you like it.

Don't worry about it, I dont want anything. I'll work on it once I get home, on Feb 28th. I'm having too much fun here lol I've been sortaish in an art block so you'd be doing me a favor asking me to draw sonic the way you want him.omg plz if you get the time and if you could do it so he has green shoes n' braclets it would probably be the coolest thing ever lol.......but i dont know what i could give you

I even said I didn't draw it... I took a picture of MetaKnight and tweaked it in photoshop. All he wants is an image of MetaKnight in the form of Mario Strikers art. He didn't say you absolutely had to draw it to qualify.

I know cant wait to try it ,but i dont mind drawing the old fashioned way ,been doing it since i was a little toddler and i never get bored of it but i also want to try different things so i can keep improving my abilities , hey since you made two drawings maybe ill give it a try again , i hope gimpy does not mind .

Thanks for the comments, guys. Though I think repeatedly quoting my post and displaying the image a gajillion times is kind of an eyesore, haha.
-sonny-: Yep, I was looking at the Strikers art and a dynamic pose was definitely present in all of them. I still am not completely pleased with the one I came up with... coulda used more foreshortening/overlap, but eh. It's done.

done on paper with a pencil, colored in CS3 with a mouse (woulda been easier with a tablet :'() I can provide a larger version if it's desired.

The Rooster: I'm really digging the detailing on the mask, the nicks/scratches are excellent.
Windlord: I was also contemplating doing a wings-out pose, but it never came together how I wanted. You pulled it off really well though, good stuff.
And as an fyi for anyone that may want to mess around with my pic: I've still got the full-res .psd (4000x4000 pixels, about) and each element is on layers, so they're easily extractable.
