I accidentally clicked something and got out of the PM group. I got back in for a while and now I get this error whenever I try and enter the group: "this content is currently unavailable". Anybody know anything about this?

I mainly play fox in melee, or sheik. For P.M. I love Mario simply because he's the least goofy character in the game. I also play Marvel and Street Fighter. My tag is sanchazpizza on steam for those that play street fighter, and marvel I'm really good. I won most Midwest tournaments, and hoping to find more of a challenge here and looking to travel to cali in the near future.

I don't think my parents would be comfortable with me visiting someone's house just to play Smash, especially when I've never met em before. A club would be a lot more comfy for me... Been there. There are public events at The Gaming Zone in Tempe and at ASU which happen on a weekly basis. What I also find helpful is inviting other smashers to your house sometime that your parents are there so they get more comfortable with the individual people before you go off on your own with them. Another thing you could try is getting a smashfest going in a public place where there are enough outlets and space to just bring our own setups and play. I'm going to be talking to the owners of the Endgame gaming bar on Mill Avenue to see if we can get some competitive smash events going there.

If you haven't already, join the FB pages above, and for marvel/SF join the group SRK AZ thread. I'm pretty sure Marvel is slowly dying here in AZ, but Ultra is always alive and other games get play too (TTT/SFxT or whatever it is, KI, some anime fighters). Register your location/tag on this cite though, its a nice database for AZ player locations and has pretty much replaced this thread as a way to find locations of smashers near you.

I would recommend getting a facebook, even if its just for smash, you can just create one solely for smash and only use it for that if you don't like facebook. A lot of people do ")their tag) SSB" as a facebook name.

are the places you really want to go to to find people to play with. There are smashfest for Melee almost every other night if you want to grind out sets with good players. Just join the groups because those are the main ways we communicate through the scenes, and register on azssb because its convenient for everyone and makes a nice little map.
