If you goto a tourney venue that has Wi-Fi and a computer, bring your Wii, set it up near the computer then set up the venue's Wi-Fi on your Wii and play AiB ladder matches during a tourney? I mean honestly, if its possible/allowed I'd rather play ladder than friendlies (even if they are offline).

Bit of a silly question since it is obviously completely dependent on the venue's rules. If you prefer ladder matches, then why would you go to a tournament in the first place? I'm guessing you don't play more than 2 or 3 rounds per tournament, which is going to be less than 10 games. I can't imagine wasting my time travelling even 10 minutes to play 10 games and go home.

I doubt they would care, but wouldn't you gleam more experience by playing people that are at your tournaments that at Wifi matches? Unless you're trying to show off how good you are at Wifi.

I mean I would obviously play my tourney matches, but during teams or any time that singles isn't going on, I'd rather play ladder than friendlies.

But then you would get used to WiFi timing and adapt to Wifi.
That's rather bad if you are playing your serious matches at the tourney. O.o

Thats actually true when I think about it. One time when I went to an offline tourney after having not for about 3 months, I had to play soooooooooo many friendlies to play consistantly in offline timing x_x

im sure peoplr wont give a ****
I'm sure people would. If I was running a tournament and I saw someone using a setup to play wifi over tournament matches, I would be pretty pissed off.

Lol, you can play wifi any day of the week. Tourneys only happen every once in a while, why would you waste that opportunity?

It's the same as playing home run contest or other single-player modes. You can play it if the setup is open, but if people come over and want to play vs there... you gotta get up and let them. It takes priority.

So sure, you can play wifi, if you don't mind forfeiting the match when someone else wants to use the setup. :embarrass

I never post here, but whatev. Several things:

1. It's a waste of a set-up.

2. Why would you ever want to play online when you could play in a lagless environment?

3. You would miss the chance to play against better/experienced players.

4. It's bad etiquette.
