Are the Holidays going to seem empty to anyone else?

For me, it won't be that exciting. I always imagined being able to brawl over break, but that was shattered long ago. Even so, I'll just be thinking of Brawl the whole time, and everyone near me sucks at smash.

My last two exams are over Thursday.

Then it's nothing but work, work, work, and more work. But hopefully, I shall be content with the various things I requested. Then shortly after Christmas, I shall be visiting my girlfriend for a week! I could care less about Christmas! As long as that comes soon!

I am actually glad of the delay. because my girlfriend is coming up for the entire month of February so we get to Brawl till we die hahaha.

Disappointing? Yes... Heartbreaking? No. I would obviously rather have had the game released earlier but there's still so much else to think about. Number 1, I can't wait to see everybody once we all get back to our home town, always an incredible time of year. Super Mario Galaxy is awesome and getting 120 stars will take a little while. I have yet to finish Resident Evil 4, alhough I don't have much left to do. I plan on getting Super Paper Mario and doing a re-run through of TP. Oh yeah, and uhhh New Years? Nice. Count your blessing folks, it's the holidays. Happy (insert own religion)!

I've got Galaxy waiting for me (yes, it's LITERALLY somewhere in my house RIGHT NOW >_<) so I'm set.

Though Brawl would've made this Christmas that much sweeter, Galaxy's totally worth it on it's own. Plus all that general yuletide cheer and whatnot.

Assuming it doesn't get delayed again, Brawl comes out less than a week before my birthday, so that just means my birthday's going to be stellar next year.

I guess thats the advantage of having all three systems. If I get really borred there are a lot of options.

My roommate has Mass Effect and Assassins Creed that I can play through. And there are a bunch of games that are out that I want including

Uncharted:Drakes Fortune
Blue Dragon
Folklore
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
and probably a few more I can't think of, so if I find myself bored I'll go pick something up.

I just finished my last exam today, and I am quite glad brawl didn't make the December 3rd deadline. I would have never studied as much as I did. For Christmas break well it starts today and goes to the 14th of January woohoo! I still have enough to tie me over COD4 (is getting a little old), TF2, and seeing all my friends and family and quite a bit of partying. It will be January 14th before I know it then I can do a 30 day countdown till brawl !

Buy Geometry Wars: Galaxies after getting all 120 (+1) stars in Super Mario Galaxy. If those two games don't keep you busy till February, pick up a hardcore RPG for the computer, like Morrowind or Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

Hell, start a game of Civ II or Civ IV - the "one more turn syndrome" will make the next few months pass quickly.

I plan on playing Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, finishing up Galaxy and corruption, have a few melee parties with my buds and watching DVD's with my girlfriend. Ohh and going on a after christmas sales hunt since after christmas everythings on sale.

unlike a lot of other people on this thread, I'll be pretty disappointed. My christmas gift is brawl lol. Maybe if I beg for some other stuff I'll have a SMALL chance of getting them..

Also I'm pretty upset about it because My friends have their own christmas to celebrate (with their families), and the only xmas guests we're getting is my parents (who don't really care) and their friend and his wife/girlfriend/Irdc.
