oh yeah and on a weekend in may(wouldnt HAVE to be may but its like the big-name thing)

Did you completely miss Tournament Listings? I mean, the name itself implies you'd be able to find tournaments there. And "USA" isn't exactly too specific unless you're willing to travel across the country already. Check Regional Zones.
