theres this place in Alameda called D20 Games

they got 2 wiis, Xbox360, and like 6 or something computers for gaming

its 50 cents to play wii and $4 an hour for computer gaming

they have tournaments for Smash, Guitar Hero, Call Of Duty 4, Halo 3, and Unreal Tournament

theres also all types of TCGs there

and they host Live Role Plays like DnD

I just came back from my third visit, and it is most certainly fantastic. It's a breath of fresth air after fighting mostly n00bs/scrubs since the game came out.

There is no Melee, though, so if that's what you're into, then you're SOL.

I believe their tournaments are every other Saturday or something, I'm not sure, I'll check, but it does have its own designated Smash Crew that meets every Wednesday, rents out the TV in the back, and plays Brawl for hours with each other without interference.

I've got to say, a most genius establishment. I hope to become a regular soon. Very friendly patrons and managers, too, though outside of the smash crew there, everyone else is basically a scrub.

the tournaments are generally biweeklies, one will be this coming saturday

and they will probably sponsor a melee tournament, Quack said he wants to hold one there and they probably will allow it

From what I'm gathering, more people in the Bay Area prefer Melee over Brawl (at least competitively). Quite personally, I do not, but it would certainly explain the difficulty I've been having looking for competitive Brawlers.

Any time before 8PM. Theres always at least a few people playing smash in there. If you like 4 man FFAs go around 3 or 4, if you prefer 1 on 1s probably around 6 is better

Just so you know, you may have to rent out the back to do that, only $1.50 though

Also, they said they'll host your tournaments, but you gotta go work out the details with them
