Another MW Problem: Tiers

Ok, so talking to drew, i noticed something. MW:

1. doesn't know where to get a copy of the tier list
2. lost their tier list in the mail
3. ripped up their tier list in frustration

examples:

bigd - plays cfalcon
tapion - plays cfalcon
darkrain - plays cfalcon
jiano - plays cfalcon
vidjo - plays peach
iggy - plays peach
eddie - played ganon for a LONG time
mendoza - plays samus
crashman - plays samus
watty - plays samus
joebushman - plays ganon
sliq - used to main kirby, and now plays jigglypuff
capt aweseome - plays ganon
kishprime - plays jigglypuff
aob - dk, donkey kong
trail - ice babies.
mikey l - peachez
dmac - ganon
smeesh - falcon
tacoom - yoshi

dyc - falcon + jiggz

what's going on midwest? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???????????

honorary "people who knew what was up w/ tiers" list
drephen - changed from luigi to shiek
5150 - changed from roy to shiek
sauce - cahnged from ylink to marth (but still plays ness, rofl)
joshu - luigi 2 shiek.

i cant leave. if i did DA would have my ***. plus, who's gonna set the mw straight? sure as hell not cunning kitsune. he doesnt even use smashboards.

Darkroom and teflon play fox/falco but idk if they count since they never play anymore. D. Disciple plays Fox.

Also for sheik: Nomek, and Bluewolf's Sheik is almost as good as his IC's.

The placings of those players on the MW tier-list seem quite accurate to the current tier list to me.

Consider the top tier of players in the MW relative to the tier list. Also consider that these players represent the top 16% or so of a standard normal curve.

(Not in any order, still top tier)
1. Tink -- Fox, Falco
2. Cunning -- Fox, Falco
3. Dope -- Falco, Sheik
5. Drephen -- Sheik
6. Eddie -- Fox, Marth
7. Darkrain -- Captain Falcon
8. Vidjo -- Peach

The mid-tier of players in the MW constitutes the largest segment of players (68% or so)and characters. Here are the mid-high tier people who usually place top 6 at any event in Illinois:

1. TJ -- Falco
2. Tom R. -- Cap'n Falcon
3. Me -- Fox
4. Cap'n -- G-dorf
5. Matt R. -- Sheik/Peach
6. Pete Chen -- Falco

And the bottom-tier ... is the bottom tier (16% of people who place the lowest)

Discuss.

Joshu changed from Luigi to Sheik! He should be on that honorary list.

I think the problem is that I'm not good. I tried to switch to Falco/Marth. Alas...

Fox is my main, so I fit in that list. I play many characters, but Fox is always in my revolution of three.

Sliq also has a decent Falco if he doesn't kill himself (the sliq special)

Kel plays Marth and has been getting pretty technical

Ameer plays Marth and Fox both.

Darkrain also has a fox.

Big R plays with CoK a decent amount with 2 tourny appearences as Falco.

Soap has gone to many tournaments with CoK as Sheik.

Only 4 left on the list of 50. I wish mods could ban IP addresses.

Mike Falco plays Falco, FaceLoran plays Marth, sadly enough I have been playing Fox at all our recent tourneys, Batman plays Marth, Big Burn plays Falco - thats only 5 here from NE, but I mean, it completes the list >_>

nvm, 18niggas beat me to it :( oh well.
