Alright, I am not the only one that is having problem dealing with Falco's laser recovery..BUT I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER!!!

D-air the hell out it.

How does falco works? Every falco players tend to jump laser into the stage from the ledge quickly because is safe for them. So, as soon as falco grab the ledge, wait one second, jump and d-air to ****. however, falco are going to learn this and might mix recovery options. I also learn once falco is off the stage, they tend to use up-b to recover, when they are near the stage though. Solution? jup off the stage and knee them as soon as you feel like they are going to up B. Again, they might switch recovery options.

Yea, was playing a few falcos, mostly Zoro, Vericz and I think UUAA's. Other than that, it works just have to wait for the right time.

Yeah, aggressive edge guards against falco is pretty effective most of the time....

Dair against falco's lhdl only works on some stages as some platforms might hinder you.

I think this also depends on the height of the lasers ie. if falco decides to do two low lasers, one high one low, or something like that...zhu wrote about this

Usually he does a double laser > f-tilt right? I wonder if you could CC to a down smash or something, but I have no idea if that would work.

double laser> f tilt? i don't know if it's wise to use f-tilt against falco coming from a ledge hop double laser.

A common thing to do against LHDLL is to crouch cancel the first laser and d-tilt. It's pretty decent when the falco has some percent on him as it sets up for an edge guard. I feel d-smash will be too slow.

I think uptilt is comes out faster than it seems, but yeah... I don't think I have ever seen this.
Would be cool to see it tough! I love CC.

nair is the best way to beat this because it sends them offstage (better than dair sending them straight down) when they've already used their 2nd jump which = dead falco. falcos don't even ledgehop double laser me anymore because of this

whattt? do you mean double jump over the ledge hop double lasers and hit them with a fast falled nair before falco touches the stage?

yeah. just fastfall onto him with the nair after the first laser goes off (sometimes you'll trade with it -- who cares)

that's what i've been doing when i'm not lazy. (when im lazy i stay on platform > drop off bair)
it doesn't send them upwards like uair and even at early percents, you can walk off knee them so they're dead. other options don't have the range and put them in a better position than nair does.

won't they shoot a high laser as the first laser when they see you're jumping/above them?

Also, why not knee instead of nair?

nair makes it so that the very bottom of falcon is also a hitbox. if you knee, their laser can hit ur pinky toe and it won't work

you can jump way higher than falco can shoot a laser off of a ledgehop btw

Yea, I remember jumping over his laser to nair. Gonna try it on the ledge.

how to do you deal falcos double laser on a stage with platforms right above the ledge. would the nair from above still work?

Yeah I was going to ask that too. Hax?

I would think you will have to drop through the platform. This seems too easy to counter so I usually just do the crouch cc into d tilt...

Yes you are. you should have plenty of time to hit him if the lasers miss you. the goal is to hit him before he lands. i usually just double jump and fall with a stomp or knee.
