so based on the slightly confusing movie summary, I assume the hearing aids are a key part in this. With them back though, you have to have some kind of role.

This is most certainly a solid point.

As I said I don't think we should lynch swamp. A handicap like that isn't really dangerous and he can probably do some good.

I was waiting for something other then no Lynch as well since we had so many people going for that and needed to balance it.

Shouya is the protagnoist who bullies her when they're in middle school, one of the "pranks" involve stealing her hearing aids a d throwing them away

I wouldn't believe Shouya to be mafia though, as he has already realised he was a ****ty person by high school which is when the majority of the movie takes place.
