I'm starting to notice that either people on my friend's list are either visiting other towns or they're just playing by themselves, gates closed. I myself am playing by myself and never have the gate open... Wild World I had that **** open all the damn time- even held sleep overs with close buddies (who I'm still in contact with after all these years meeting them through Animal Crossing).

How do you get one villager to move to a different place

I got one from someone and I always wondered how

You can convince someone else's neighbor moving into your village by talking to them the day they're packing to move out from what I've read. It might also just randomly happen if you've visited each others towns too.

I don't even know who they are other than I've street passed them a few times

Oh. I suppose any kind of interaction allow someone else's villager to move in then. That's pretty neat.

I let a villager move out so I have a spot in case I see a super awesome camper. I found that I have a hard time parting with the townies I have. In my mind there were like two that I would let go for sure, but when the time came my heart almost broke and I begged them to stay. ;_;

I had the same problem with villagers moving away. I eventually got over it though

Unfortunately when the villager wants to move away now, I say "Go ahead" and they are all like "I thought we were better friends than that. I better stay to make sure we are"
