An MLG Canada Support thread

Major League Gaming, as they are, do not just pick up certain games for their events. MLG demands a strong arguement for why they should have it, as well as a kind of petition to prove how popular it is to make it worth while to support it itself.

I've made a topic about it on their forums of MLG Canada, and am asking for signatures. But no one ever goes on those forums, despite how many go to their events. So I'm looking for support and signatures here. I'd ask anyone (preferably Canadian, really, because... well, why would a non-canuck post on a Canuck forum?) to visit the topic itself:

I've attempted several sites in posting this, and all I get is cheap laughter.

Why would you even want MLG to come? Smash isn't part of their lineup, so there's no point.

The point of this topic is that Smash isn't part of their lineup, and I'm trying to gather interest so that it will be.

I see. That explains it. I found other Smashers in Regina, as well. And in Yorkton, too, but no one with advanced tech. Did you ever get my email address?

You can add my signature to the list. I don't really feel like registering on the site. :p

I do support competitive brawl action and if MLG Canada will embrace Brawl I'm sure it would help.

Apparently I'm already signed up, which makes sense since I think I did a long time ago, but my username + password doesn't work and none of my emails are recognized...

I'd like to sign it and add that the Toronto area has probably around a good hundred people who'd show up and with advertising, a Vancouver event could easily hit that as well.

Theres already a MLG Canada...

Plus Toronto was added to the 08 season. But no sign of Brawl.

We need Brawl on the circuit.

MLG Canada. It's a lot smaller than regular MLG. They only have one city at the moment and are looking to expand.

A staff member there posted that he's trying to get Brawl on the circuit and people signing would help.
