Smash Lord
Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, as I don't really follow the scene anymore and I never attend the Falcon boards, but I thought it might be worth mentioning in case it isn't.
I'm not too good at consistently using A, A, A, and when I used Z (I was told that most players use Z) I felt that I had to hold it down longer for some reason, and often ended up shielding. I can't remember if I found this out personally or whether I was told by someone, but my method is:
A, A, A, then immediately after the last A, hit Z. The Z should come as quickly as possible (at least that's how it works for me). To equate it to something, it's similar to the method/timing of a JC'd grab.
I'm not sure if the Z actually does anything, or if it just helps me time the last A better, or what, but using this method I enjoy about a 80% success rate in match. (100% in practice but who can't)
Like I said, I don't know if this is new or even valid, or if I'm just ********, so let me know.
