So, i go to Basic Brawl, the game starts and what happens...it says 2 are brawling and one is selectingstage, im like OK..we gonna disconnect but we don't the game starts and the character that was selecting stage "was" there but he Wasn't there..( you could see his icon where it says the character and the 0% but he wasn't "playing" and all of a sudden when we fighting,me and the 2 other people, get koed by something invisible and im like wtf going on here..and at the end it said " the winner is..." and it stopped and returned to character select...

That sounds like some major glitches.
Either that, or you don't explain very well, because I just can't picture that.

Sounds like a hack job

I was in Spectator mode yesterday watching a match, and in the last 10 sec, all of a sudden, a text box opens on my tv saying something like, "Resetti, the world is getting darker", "I told you . . . ."

And then the match ended. Seems hackers are finding more ways to ruin everybodies fun

Or maybe the things you're seeing are just coincidental/glitches and have NOTHING to do with hacking.

See, most people who people claim are "hacking" are just using codes which doesn't = hacking (they're not the same thing). No hacker uses their USB Gecko + Wiird to hack while on WiFi for lulz. Hell, there aren't even a lot of codes available for Basic Brawl WiFi because the hackers that make the codes are trying to make sure nobody can use them online (except stage modifier and music modifier... and the Coop code).

The OPs problem sounds like someone was using Control All Players with Player 1 and used the Coop code to have two controllers on the same Wii so he could have P2 join and then control both characters OR just have one of them sit there. I don't think there's an invisible character code... much less one that works on WiFi.

I need to see a replay in order to verify it. Did you save the replay? If not, nothing can prove it was someone using codes or some dumb glitch.
