THE TOURNAMENT IS CANCELLED BY POPULAR DEMAND. . .. . .LMFAO, SYKE!!!! lol, how many people actually believed that, lol but it is cancelled due to money issues (rather use the thirteen hundred for my new TT engine) but nevertheless i will be bringing this back again hopefully before summer is over. and will hopefully have all the sponsors and promoters finalized. Either way i will be attending race's tournament and is about 30 minutes from my tourney that i was hosting. so see you guys in RACE'S tourney and FREE FOOD.

sorry that you feel that way, but maybe you should take another look at my description on top i also say that if more than 30 people show up, the money distribution will change without a doubt. and btw i'm not keeping any money.

50% will go to the venue only if less than 30 people show up. Please read the description, I will only do the 50% thing if less than 30 people show up. The medal wasn't my idea it was suggested by others.

I'm assuming that your saying i'm greedy because you THINK i'm keeping some money or all . ... right? well i'm not. i'm not "trashing'" on race's tourney, he said that he's going to charge $1 for the venue, yeah thats great for a garage tourney. I've never charged for garage tourneys (halo tourneys) but we're not talking about garages here. I never said that he wasn't a good host, never mention that at all since i haven't gone to one of his tourneys and I believe you when you say that he's a good host. since a lot of people want him to throw tourneys and stuff. I wouldn't mind charging 2-3 dollars for venue but mathematically it doesn't work. here's an

example:

lets say 60 people show up (being optimistic here) and charge 3 bucks for entry fee/venue

60*3= 180<== thats simple not enough to cover the cost of the venue and i'm still putting money out of MY POCKET to cover the rest.

(this is the way i have it)
60*10= 600<== i take 25% from pot and now the money distribution goes
as follows:
1st = 35%
2nd= 25%
3rd = 15%

IF YOU DO THE MATH YOU STILL GET A LARGE SUMP OF MONEY (YOUR TELLING ME THAT YOU WOULDN'T BE HAPPY WITH THAT MONEY).

I see what you mean though about messing with the pot money, until I find the sponsors and the promoters which i'm working on right now, This will have to do. I also plan to have these promoters and sponsors before ---ALL or Nothing II---. so the pot money will not be touched and will be charging an entry fee.

lets back it up a bit and actually get to the money wise part, if thats what your complaining about.

(again being optimistic here)
if race gets 60 people and charges $5 and you get 60% you get $180

if I get 60 people and charge $10 and you get 35% you get $210

not that i'm putting race's tourney down or anthing is that MIKE brought the money up and wanted to make it clear on what he was asking.

Everyone needs to caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalm down, give the guy some advice rather than flaming him. We were all new to the competitive scene at sometime.

I'm not doing this for Brawl, but to help a TO out.

Rather than take alot of money out of the pot, you should charge each player $5 entry fee. The person who wins the tournament should rightfully earn a large portion of the pot. Traditionally, tournaments award 60-30-10% of the pot to the top 3 finishers.

And found one guy that tore me apart but out of 19 matches i at least got one (yeah i'm proud of that cuz it was the guy ranked 4). cul dude btw.
