this was pretty cool, but the tournament-esque thing took too long imo...

we shouldn't do that if we don't have enough setups (like 4 minimum), and when the bracket comes nearer to the end, we should dedicate at least 2 TVs to friendlies. i'm not sure if anybody else got this, but i didn't get to play boss or korn at all. =(


also, Sage, contact me about the thing you mentioned would happen next weekend. L@wl messaged me on AIM but he logged off shortly thereafter, before we could discuss anything smash-related.

also, fyi, i will be in NYC visiting family until around mid-monday, so i will be away on aim for a while.

ok, for some reason, i couldn't edit my post...it would just start the loading process with the little circle and not load it at all. i let it sit for a few minutes and it didn't start up, even after reloading the page and trying again 3 times.

Haha...I'm kinda dedicated to Bowser, and it's sort of a tradition of mine now. I mean, I really like Fox, and he suits my technical playstyle, but aside from being stuck to Bowser for other reasons I actually like playing him...regardless of getting ***** 90% of the time...

And LOL! My friend would never be able to play Falco. He just doesn't have quick enough fingers and I doubt he will ever be able to build them. He doesn't particuarly like Falco, and he decided to ditch DK after realizing that his noob combos that work on comps and Bowser don't work on other characters. He's unsure on who he's going to main at this point. I'm not sure on who he should main either...he used to play Jiggly, and before that Samus, so he might go back to one of those. Probably not Samus though, because she requires good timing and decently fast transition speed for a lot of things.


Plus, another member of our Crew (and a very good friend of mine) (and my doubles partner) plays Falco as a main. He used to be really good, but his tech skill went down the drain after not playing for like a year, and that made his game suffer. I'm sure I can speak for my crew in saying that we all have different playstyles and preferences, and that duplicate mains within the same crew is not a very good idea.

Cdot & ...Brandon? Brendon? (I'm not sure) - You guys are pretty good. I forget who was which, but I played both of you. One of you used Captain Falcon and ***** my Bowser. The other one I didn't get to finish the match vs. DK because of the ****ing tournament...>=(

GIMR - You have a pretty good G&W, I would like to play you again. We only had two matches iirc =/ I also want a rematch Bowser ditto that doesn't take place on Yoshi's Story!

Matt - You are really gay with the turnips. =) but...UGH! I couldn't even get to you!

Korn - You look really good, but I didn't get to play you =( But thanks for cheering me on against Sage, lol

Boss - Crazy button tapping speed! What was it, around 19 taps per second? Gamer's Twitch! We didn't get to play, but it seems you have a really good Mario.

Sage & Korn and some others (can't remember) - Wow, you guys made me feel pretty good about my tech skill...thanks for the support...lol.

1. you could go double main and do what i do....
start a set with one of my favorite characters (IC's/Falco) for you bowser
you win pick them again
you lose pick a character you have a better chance with (marth/sheik) for fox
just an idea....don't have to listen

Bowser rematch sounnds cool. sorry if you got upset that the tourney took too long. It wasn't planned or anything, but next time it will be. One reason the tourney was so slow though is because people were playing so many friendlies they would't get there tourney matches over with.

Well...I guess he does have fast fingers compared to most people, but for that his main competition are me and my friend (the Falco main)...and I have very fast fingers, in case you didn't notice. My friend I would say is about tied with me, maybe just a tad bit slower.

Relation: I had heard of the double shine, and after it was explained to me what it exactly was, I tried it with Falco because I figured I couldn't do it with Fox. I tried it and I could do it pretty consistantly without any practice. Later that day, I tried doing it with Fox and I could do it immediately. Then I went back to try it with Falco and I couldn't get him to do the second shine...he would just short hop. I still have that problem to this day, and I need to use X to double shine with Falco.

Oh, and Jesse used to main Samus. He then switched to Jiggly, to Doc, to Luigi, then to DK. He says he is going to stick with DK and secondary Falco (he loves the SHL even though he sucks at it). I have this feeling he won't stick with either of them, though.

3. O_o...crew...i like crews....the only one i've been in died like a week before i got in and every has a major skill gap between me and them...can i be a part of yours? >.<

Well.........my crew is more than a smash crew. It is a general gaming crew with no specific focal point. And we're all really good friends who know each other well...and since I just met you last friday and I haven't seen you since, I'm going to have to deny your request...I mean, you seem like a cool person and all, but I barely know you.

There are only 3 others in my crew, but I play smash with more than just them. There are several people that I have over reguarly just to play smash (and sometimes other games). Usually we only have one setup though, so we have to play round robin to keep it fair. Anyways, I could certainly have you over just about every weekend if your schedule would allow. My houses (divorced parents) are basically the meeting points for my crew and my high-school's smash community, but only my crew seems to over on a consistant basis.

I guess we could discuss getting together on weekends through AIM, because we have each other's screen names now.
