its an introductory course 100 level course (kinda like 10 in highschool, number equivalency).

its basically the earth, solar system, times/ages, rocks and minerals, tectonics, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere.

edit: now that i have 3 hours or so to study left. my brain clicked into study mode (or cramming), now i dont day dream or side track lolol

man grade 10 courses are sooooooo easy now that I look back

even math 30 is hella easy now that I look back

**** I'm going to look back at high school next year and miss it lol
number equivalency though, 100 level courses in uni > 30 level courses in hs in terms of difficulty.

have fun when u come to uni :)

Man earth and atmospheric sciences is such a joke lol

no wonder you cant study
basically lol, and its memorizing stuff, i HATE memorizing (hence why i suck at bio).

ya hear that carl.

:3

Yeah i wish i put in more effort this semester.

i dunno if that's possible xP
ya, u wish and u tell ur self u will and in the end, u dont.

happened to me all the time in 2nd year.

basically its like:

me: ok, im going to do my assignment today so i can have more time to study for my midterm next week.

friend: hey lets play games/go out today

me: k

where do u guys live? the place im staying is going to be near crowfoot (north west).

I don't even know lol

Like I'm going into something bio-related. I kinda wanna do biochem since it's one of my better subjects and I'm actually interested in it, but I haven't taken physics 30 cause I'm terrible at physics so I don't know if I can even do that. =/ I could take physics in summer school but I heard it's ridiculously hard.

Yar, my plan is to only take partial IB, so I have time to get my hands on some U of A textbooks lol.

I did the same for highshool; I basically memorized a bunch of highschool science terms, math formulas and kana in jr high.

the sad part is that it was all so much more interesting when I was learning it myself... Its like, as soon as you take something in school, it no longer eminates an aura of curiosity and wonder... which pretty much destroys half your motivation to learn it, not to mention making it harder to learn since you're less focused on it. >< and yeah, the fact that I posted this proves i'm maximum white.

actually my teachers have told me the new chem curriculum this year is harder than physics, and my friends in physics all agree with that lol

I'm actually not bad in physics, I just hate it, hate the teacher I'd get, and know that I'd fail simply because I had him last year and he does like university style questions on in classes and the average is like 40 % and he doesn't give a **** about our marks lol

I managed to get an 80-something in that class but it was my worst mark.

Took EAS 210 in 2nd year. Labs were kind of lame but it was a pretty easy course.

Took EAS 222 in 3rd year. What an absolute nightmare. Labs were horrendous and the course wasn't so much "learning" as "memorization".

CH E 314 EXAM TOMORROWWWWWWW. I'm pumped
but not really

**** the north!

I'm not gonna lie, the only reason the north ever smashes with anyone other than me is because they are willing to drive all the way south.

Seriously.

I've gone to kevins house a couple times, total. And thats like 500x how often everyone else does.

ib is pretty dumb, either u should take full, or not take it at all; i didnt take it at all.

the more i learn about math, the more i want to learn about it <3 seriously, there's soooo much to discover
ha..ha.. math 209 im guessing? math 201 was a *****.

after those math courses, its gonna be like "OMG IM DONE MATH. oh wait, im in compE fml" (u guys do take another math course right? i know the e e guys do)

I did really bad on the midterm, but that's because I didn't go to class because my prof sucked. The optional seminars were also @ 8am on Friday but fukno I'm not waking up @ 6 for that class.

After studying it for the majority of yesterday, it's actually really easy. The only thing that has me worried is the sheer amount of correlations but thankfully, there's a formula sheet.

It's Heat Transfer btw. I can't say anything about Mass Transfer.

I can sell you my textbook, too, btw. :D

I also know that MecE's have to take Math 300 (mandatory).

Don't Chem E's needs to get Perry's Ch E Handbook or something? How much is it?

I checked the Petroleum handbook online and it was really good but it was like $500 lol.

All of the cool Calgary lives in the south. Also all of the calgary that ever talks to eachtoher or does anything is in the south (kevin tries though, so it's coo)

Allan and Kevin (And allans friends mostly) live in the north. But Allans anti-social, and Kevin is ******** =3

Actually, you're Asian, tell Allan that.
