It doesn't have much to do with my performance down here than it does with my performance back in Alaska. I mean, I've been playing for too long to still be losing like that. I dunno, maybe it'll work. It's been fun, Peach and secondaries....

so, on the 28th, im having a small melee tournament/fest at my house, then we're proceeding to mooses tooth after. depending on the interest, maybe brawl as well.

$5 dollar entree fee
standard rules.
if weather permits, we're doing this outside.

It has been a few years since I've played melee but it's similar enough to Brawl where it wouldn't take long to get back into it. Melee seems to be a bit less floaty and faster paced from what I remember.

People mainly play Melee up here instead of Brawl, but there are a couple people who would play Brawl with you.

And don't let Fang and/or Adrian troll you they do that to new people sometimes.......

Yeah, hes obviously a spambot, right guys? Anyways, I'm definitely down for whatever or anything thats going to be happening involving Melee so I'll be there Daemonfang. Although I don't know how I feel about playing outside.

I am a little excited to dust off Sheik/Dr. Mario to tell ya the truth. But really moreso I am excited to play against people who are most likely better than myself.

Yeah, I kept bugging him at the last few tourneys to teach me some stuff but I haven't played his Mario since our Mario/Doc match back at KaMaster's tourney. Still pretty good, I imagine.

Very carefully. But srsly, Silent Wolf has a texture hacked Melee where CF is Captain America, Fox has a Wolf texture and sometimes when the crowd cheers for someone, they'll chant "U! S! A! U! S! A! U! S! A!", probably taken from the Mango/Armada set at Genesis. It was pretty cool.

Playing down here in WA makes me miss smash with all you guys back at JC, mostly because unless it's tournament weekend in Seattle, the only person I get to practice with is my gf which can be frustrating for both of us. Also, I brought your name up at one of those tournaments and some of the ppl have actually heard of you haha. Butyah, how much longer until you're out of there?

Also, I've been working on my MK for the last couple days, trying to remember best to my ability what playing against M2K's MK was like. I heard there was some sort of secret to training against CPUs that actually makes you good...

I guess I'll advocate for a SSF4 tourney, but I wouldn't do it if Cho or someone else came to play, as I'm sure other than me and Jason, noone in here is comfortable putting money up for that.

Though I probably have an inflated idea of how much you've improved since it has just been against me.

And not only that, if you can only remember to do that sort of stuff against me, then it you really have

not improved much at all. But if you can remember all of that and apply it to every game, then sure.

You're better.

And I know you're not a moron, but just a word of advice. Please don't think you're going to go and

destroy everyone there or something. It seems to me that a lot of people have a problem of arrogance

where just because they can sit back and watch a few vids online or experience some time in the

limelight that they're like god tier or something lol. I know you're not a fool but just letting you know

that if you play anybody down there you should use it as a learning experience if anything at all.
