Be aware, that the only good people that play there, for the most part at least, are on the smash team. And last time I was there Dennis (the owner) didn't allow anyone to play the smash team after 6:00 so they could practice against each other. This is pretty much the reason I haven't been there in over a month.

Wait you idiots still go there? Charging for friendlies alone is already disgusting, and then limiting who you can play against? This is why no one likes gaming stores

The only thing I can figure is that there's something exciting about "going out" to play smash for the night as opposed to hanging at someone else's place, so people will pay for it. I don't get it.

Well its a lan center your not paying just for smash but pretty much any game you wanna play but that happens to be smash for most people.

What's with all the hate yo? Regardless of if you want it or not, melee and sm4sh are joined at the hip right now. If one game grows so does the other. Not saying it will always be that way or that it will stay that way for long, but an "us vs them" mindset is pretty toxic, especially for a local scene.

@ Keet Keet is right, no matter how much I hate the 10 frame buffer and seven frames on input lag, smash 4 is a major part of the community. We have to respect it like we respect PM, 64, and Melee. Just don't treat it like brawl.

I'm still salty it took PM's spot on the rankings page though.
