Samus takes FOREVER! If I'm against any character who can use this time for something, it can be used against me. Any tips?

1. fast fall towards the stage-expected
2. don't have to wait for bomb jump you can just use the morphing into ball to get you horizontal distance, maybe...?
3. tether?-O_O?
4. B-up
5. 2nd jump?

^only options as far as i know.

She falls slow, but this also means you have a lot of control. Samus is really good at off-stage combat, so if they chase you, you should punish them for it. Honestly, you really dont need to worry about much. Most people will just stay on the edge and try to mess you up from there, which is not really an issue either cuz Samus has loads of options on the edge.

If the problem is that you're trying to get back, but someone is protecting the edge so that you won't return, try firing Homing Missiles. It'll cause them to block, evade, move away, &c. Drop Bombs and move back and forth while doing so. You get a little bounce every time you use the Bombs.

No not literally getting back on the stage when I'm to the left or right of it, I mean like on top of the stage all the way up there just floating down, while snake lays his **** *** traps

Deal with it or don't get launched upwards. Snake can only lay one C-4 and one mine, and mines can be disarmed with bombs.

Lol, well, avoid the traps is all I have to say. If he's waiting for you to get close to the ground tu u-smash, air-dodge all the way, or bomb mindgames (since it lets you stay in the air longer). If he DOES hit you, well, float off the stage and get back up by using the edge... Her up+B is awesome for these kind of scenarios.

Oh! And whenever you get a breather, lay bombs over the claymores to blow 'em up... And try to avoid walking over C4's... This is when Samus's floaty-ness prevails, since you can easily jump over ém and air-dodge or up+b if you mess up.

Since when was a slow come-back a problem?

Trust me, Snake's going to rig the map no matter what you do. Him rigging the map is much better than a potentiel meteor smash, and when you float in the air with Samus you can dodge pretty much anything.
