You got like 3 or 4 kills in the first 30 seconds -_-

Although your opponents didn't seem THAT good, you played your MK pretty well. I didn't really see anything wrong. All I would suggest is incorporating mach tornado and fairs more into your game.

Next time, 1 v 1.

Your Dair gimping was nice, but next time play some opponents who don't suck ****, they almost gave you those kills.

BTW Diddy cooked your dinner at 1:48

Thanks to everyone for the advice so far.

Also I'm gonna play with my crew a little later today and will be recording, so I should be able to upload some 1v1's tonight.

its hard to say from a team match since the tactics are alot different. I didnt see you use fair much, or your tilts. Most of your attacks seemed to be dairs, which were well done, but you might want to switch it up a bit more. Looking forward to seeing your other vids.

Not too shabby, looks good for a new character. Try to mix up your gimping a bit more, it seems like your go-to move is shuttle loop, which is good, but you can use dair, fair, or nair well to gimp too. Try to set it up in combos too, rather than just an edgeguarding/gimping technique. Also about shuttle loop, I saw you use it a few times very high up, then have to b-cancel it and fallspecial all the way down to the stage. Sometimes this happens and it cant be avoided, but alot of times if Im that high up (unless Im playing snake), I will just use a reverse shuttle loop instead so I dont have to cancel the glide after, leaving myself open. In the second video i noticed that you died once when you could have used Drill rush to recover. It has better vertical recovery than SL, and you can return from the very bottom of the stage with it. Probably the biggest thing I could recommend is to utilize MK's grab game more, and try to set up combos with it.

Hope that helps, and keep em coming.

You've got a pretty nice playing style. All I can really recommend is to avoid using the drill rush so much (in that Diddy match it was pretty risky because a shield can really punish the move) and replace it with the tornado; also, if at all possible, try to incorporate the d tilt more. All in all, those were some cool matches.

so far, he looks good. but, you need to abuse your tornado, edgehog with the DM and when your close to the opponent while using the shuttle, slash at the last second!

Thanks man. I definitely see what youre saying about my use of the drill rush. Ill keep the in mind from now on.

Thanks for the tips. However, I dont know what DM means; if you could clarify thatd be great.

Also I meet and practice with my crew every weekend, so I should have more videos uploaded for critique this friday/saturday.

DM = Dimensional Cape aka Down B.
Gotcha. I thought thats what you meant; i was thinking Dimensional Cape = DC.

I never use it cause it always seems so risky. I practiced with dimensional edgehogging for a while but noticed how often I SD'd, so i stuck with hugging.

Is there a huge benefit in using DM edgehogging over hugging that I dont know about?
