My Mom is an even bigger Zelda fan then I am, and that is saying a lot. But she has a strange memory of a mysterrious zelda game, the only one she couldn't finish. Later on, she's trying to figure out what it was. I'm trying to get you're help. Here are the clues.

She thinks it was on the NES or SNES.

She knows it wasn't the original or link to the past.

She always draws a big picture of the map in the 2-d games, so she can recognize any map. She looked up the map of Zelda 2, and she doesn't think it's that.

The last clue is the reason she couldn't finish it. There was a white tower towards the center of the map. A one point, someone at the tower told you to go to another place to get something, but when you went there, it told you to go to the tower. So there was a vicious circle.

Please help us! It's driving us crazy.

No, My mom says she remembers the tower was right of center and had several levels. She says there was a bog in the lower left, a forest in the upper left. That's what she can remember.

It was DEFINITELY NOT LttP. My Mom thinks it might just be a game that was like a Zelda game, but wasn't really.

Maybe Final Fantasy Adventure? Its gameplay was similar to Zelda and would later evolve into the Mana series.

Hmm. Well, does she have any recollection of gameplay?

Was it exactly like Zelda, or was there any differences? Such as how one goes to battle enemies.

The Gameboy games looked like NES games.

Look for Oracle of Ages, or Oracle of Seasons.
They were two different games but pretty much the same like Pokemon R/B/Y'

I believe shes talking about oracle of seasons.

Talking with the Castle Folk gotcha nowhere.

Then again this is a gameboy game and the only other SNES one was Link's Awakening.
