This was my first zelda game. my favorite game is OoT, but for some reason, I feel happier talking about THIS game than any other Zelda game. Just something about it that makes it... very "Yay."

Yes... very "Yay." When you talk about any other Zelda game like OoT, you are just like... "yeah." But ALttP is very "Yay" for me. Do you know what I'm saying?

Probably not. But thats how I feel about it. I hate the temples, the bosses are hard, there are things that make no sense like the magic powder and the bat monster under the dwarf's house...

But the game's music, atmosphere, story, and overall "Zeldaness" is unmatched by any other zelda game. It's replay value is twice that of OoT and MM, which came out several years after.

I used to make a sprite comic for this game a long time ago. It was the most popular sprite comic on Drunkduck.com. Sadly though I quit making it because a Mac computer is not the most pristine computer for making sprite comics.... Oh well.

Haha I still have it too. ;3

Oh, btw. When you beat it, wasn't it sad? I had this game since I was young. It was not easy for me to beat, I almost relied on my older cousin to do it for me. Haha, but after many years, I beat it. I was then like "Then what?"

Sad.

I'm doing a run through of this game right now. I'm at the first dungeon (so I'm not very far in at all), and it's pretty fun so far. The pink hair bothers me though. I don't like that.

Can't wait to get farther :)

The pink hair is regrettable. I wonder why they put it in though? There isn't any reason. Is it your first time, Skyler? If so, then you're in for a treat. As I've said before, the dungeons are fabulous. For me, they're the high point of the game and are what make it stand out to me. It's a very standard Zelda game, at least to me, who played OoT, MM, LA, OoS and OoA, and WW at least before I got ALttP for my GBA. The plot is very OoT-like, but it's got so many excellent dungeons, and they're all unique. *Goes to replay*

It's my first time. I've played it one other time for about ten minutes at my cousins house, but it was a long time ago so I hardly remember.

This is one game I still have yet to beat. In the summer of 1998 I rented it a few times and got to the 7th castle/cave in the dark world where you got to use the fire/ice wand on the three headed beast. For some reason I struggle on that beast because I run out of magic. It's like I have to be so precise with my accuracy when I use the fire and ice wands. One time I thing I destroyed them but then died fighting the boss right after. I tried again in the summer of 2002 after buying it at a Gamestop type place and I still couldn't do it.

My favorite boss to battle are the eye bosses. I'm not sure why. I guess I just like pulling plucking away at his defense with the claw and then shooting the eyeball with an arrow. Clever boss.
