I don't MAIN Marth. nor 2nd. nor 3rd. I used to main him, and I do however still play him enough to know whats up, and I have a few questions for you Marth mainers.
-Is it me, or is there a lack of Utilt juggling? I never see ANY Marths do it, and although this isn't Melee, it still works, it puts them in the air, and that is probably where you're going to want them.
-I was browsing the forums today and I saw that you can Jump shine with Fox. You can also do this with Counter and Dolphin Slash! Idk about DB, but it looks like you get more distance.
Counter's distance is quite negligible, about that of a Stutter step, or even less. Dolphin Slash is also quite negligible, BUT it is to be used as a tactic from time to time.
-I have NEVER seen this done, and I've done this for quite a while now, so I'm claiming it
Anyways, I tend to use this as an approach. It works WONDERS on BF.
DB1->Fair
or DB1->Uair
DB1->Uair also works, but I tend to never do it. The reason I substitute Fair or Uair is because of the DB. It stabilizes your momentum, as well as gives you vertical distance, so you could potentially keep from moving INTO an attack. The hitstun from DB1 is enough to ensure a hit from Fair and Uair, and most of the time they are tippered.
Tippered Fairs and Uairs are kill moves, are they not? DB1 isn't a powerful move in terms of knockback, so it sets up 2 of your kill moves.
