My suggestion:
Do the crew battle before the tournament. Start at 3 maybe?
Then do teams.
The earliest I can show up is 4:30.

So if the b-day boy is alright with this, he can enter me in teams with whomever i'm teaming with. Then the moment I get there I can immediately go through my team matches. It'll work out for everyone, not waste time(since you'll be going through the rest of the tournament as well) and everyone will be happy.

I do think 4 is definitely too late to start a tournament, especially if we're going to dinner afterwards (you cats better stay for that..although it's just an idea, it would be nice to have dinner with you guys. where do you wanna go?)
So - our options include
: Starting earlier than 4 (sorry Laijin)
: Having a CDE vs GPC Crew battle before the tournament
: having it over two days
: doing Wes DVD commentary and interviews before the tournament (although this will happen during the tournament anway)
: Singing me happy birthday and + cake that FullMetal makes for me

Nobody from cede is attending as of right now other than myself. I'm still working on that.

What part of "4 is too late" aren't you getting Lai? If you can't get here sooner, just don't enter teams.

I really don't see the problem. Its not like the tournament will be over by 4 if you start at 3(or even 4:30). Even without playing my matches, you should still be able to go through the tournament normally until I get there and stuff.
