Hey! I'm new to the boards, and I live in Sun Valley (though I'm just a few minutes from Burbank) and I'm looking for people to Smash with. I play both Brawl and Melee. I would love to meet up with anyone in the San Fernando Valley.

I use my cuzins wii so it stays in the house. Might ask one day and get lucky. they got a gamecube they dont care about though.

I live right around there and I'm desperately seeking a group to play with.

We can plan a small tournament at one of our houses. Ill keep you updated with what happens and make sure to invite you. You play melee right? cuz we dont play brawl =/

Went to the tourney at mikomi-con. got 3rd place. it was pretty sic. They had a constant set up of like 4 wiis so i played all day. and i am pretty sure it will be the same 2morrow. they also dont really check badges in the gameing room. Now what to get with my 2,000 wii points?

Unfortunately I missed the tournament but I got to play during free play quite a bit so it was better than nothing.

But wow, I really should have brought my own controller...usually at cons there is quite a supply but this time I was wrong. The C-stick was broken on one of the con-supplied controllers, and one tv had no controllers available at all.

There seems to be a decnt cluster of us in the Burbank/Sun Valley/Glendale area. While I probably wouldn't be the best choice for a host, but I'd be down for biweeklies.

I would be willing to host melee tournaments here at my house...
We get a good turn-out for my smashfests usually 30-40...
And more people have shown interest..
But I don't like suddenly changing from smashfests to tourneys..
