I was just talking to Shogo down at Denjin Arcade, and he says it's alright if i host biweeklies, so, starting on sunday the 26th, I will be hosting biweeklies in Simi Valley

the next one is on december 7th, if shogo is late, it'll be the last

2$ venue fee
5$ for singles
5$ per member for doubles (10 for a team)

The arcade does have several 3rd strike cabinets, and two sf4 cabinets, along with super turbo, guilty gear, melty blood, and pretty much everything you can imagine

replicate, if you come down and bring a few melee set ups and a few powerstrips, then i'll work some melee. but we might be short on space, so it might have to happen afterwards

Bigfoot asked Shogo about it and Shogo gave him the okay to use Denjin for the venue. I don't think Shogo's gonna be running any of the tournaments but I might be mistaken. Either way, this is pretty much the best place in Socal to hold biweeklies. Speaking of which, Bigfoot, put this in the first post to advertise how awesome this place is:

I'll be there for most of the tournaments if I have gas and I'm not getting ***** by school. I know of at least 2 or 3 friends that will be coming with me when I do make it.

dai, I'm going to be running it, we're just using denjin

also, shogo was impressed by smash's turnout at tournaments and wanted to see how it happens

we need a few things though

1st, set ups, I can bring one, i'm going to go out on a limb here and say mio can bring one, that brings the total up to 2, we're going to need setups

2nd, we could use another table, shogo has one at the arcade, and I'm bringing a couple fold out tables, but we could use another just in case

3rd, chairs, we could steal em from the 3rd strike cabinets, but then playing 3rd strike would be hard, I can bring about 4 chairs, but we could use more

other than that we have everything, I'm really looking forward to these

and a reminder cause this happens a lot at arcades, usually to everyones dismay, I'm running it, there will be no srk rulesets, its all smashboards

However, I'm running it on shogos permission, so don't make an *** of yourself, otherwise there will be no more

No worries mang, I go to denjin on sundays as a regular basis :V.

Yeah, shogo is one man you don't want to mess, b/c most of the community <3 shogo :3

i have one from third grade. i can play mary had a little lamb, but not much else. sorry if i wont be much help.
