Seems unlikely. The way that the majority of the original stage's platforms work is too strange to place in the background (or another course, for that matter), so there wouldn't be anywhere for the shellcreepers and sidesteppers (still love that they're called that) to walk. So I'm going to say definitely not for the first release, at least. If I can find a good work around I would love to do that though.
Aside from Castle Siege, each of those stages has some kind of balance edit. But the thing is, they ALL have some issue. Bridge of Eldin's is basically the broken piece of the bridge used as an FD platform, with Eldin's BG and Battlefield's lighting.
New Pork's one, well, isn't really balanced much at all.
As for Spear Pillar, there's this complete awkwardness:

And sadly, at this point in time due to limits of ability and tools I can't do better for any of them, except potentially Eldin (and even then it would likely just be the same stage as the one you posted except with platforms and its original background/lighting)

Oops. I forgot to clarify about Spear Pillar's one. One the Palkia stage, if you look closely at the picture, you'll notice a big (and awkward) pillar of rock sticking out of the bottom right of the main platform. As for New Pork, it really could just do with adjustments to the three platforms. And with Eldin, i'd gladly take your platformed, and correct background/lighting alternate. It'd keep more with the idea that it's still the bridge in Hyrule Field, rather than looking oddly generic as it currently does.

I know the problem(s) with Spear Pillar. Sadly can't fix the pillar without 3dsmax. New Pork has the same problem with needing 3dsmax for the Brawl version at least, and though I haven't tried to edit its 'balanced' version yet, but I would assume it has the same problem. Eldin shouldn't be a problem at all if what I described sounds good, and I'll start work on that soon.

The Spear Pillar fix is a step in the right direction but I have so many issues with it. There's the awkward pillar of rock in all three iterations. Palkia's texture mapping seems to have been messed up since it lacks facial features, plus the platforms are blue rather than pink / purple. The cavern portion should be edited out since whenever I play with people on it, they mistake the bottom being there, get killed, and complain. But it's still better than Saffron City by a landslide.
Thanks for handing out justice OP, I'm going to monitor this thread for goodies.

I could likely fix the texturing issues, but I sadly can't fix the pillar for sure. I completely agree on the cavern. I always have to warn people before we play on the course. I can't edit it out, but there's a chance one might be able to darken it in such a way that it becomes clearly less prominent, I might try that eventually.
Thank you! I'm hoping to have the Mario Bros. edit up by the weekend, but I can't give any guarantees. I'm currently trying to fix the fading out that can be seen on each side and the bottom of the stage in this screenshot, and once I finish that I'll work on arranging the platforms properly. Currently experiencing no major problems, so that's good!

I kinda like the fading out, personally. I think that it could work, presuming that the death boundaries are pretty close to where said effect happens.

I like it to, but the problem lies with the way its done. The model extends out a bit after it turns dark, so ledge grabs would make characters (at least) partially invisible, covered up by the black model. Not to mention, it would be difficult to judge where the ledge is regardless.
Hi Soopercool101. For some reason I can't download your Luigi's Mansion stage for Project M. Do you have an alternate link to your stage so that I could download it?

Hello! The download is now working, but kc-mm occaisionally goes down, usually for not over an hour. If this happens for an extended period of time, direct DLs will be posted, but until then, hosting the links on Brawlvault is the best way to get my stages out to a larger audience as well as judge their popularity (which admittedly keeps me motivated to keep making them! ). Thank you!

I still can't download it. Whenever I go to the site today there is no download button showing up in the brawl vault submissions. I would really like to have an alternate link because I really want to download this, but I can't because of this issue.

In your Project M directory, go to "projectm\pf\module" and paste in the st_mansion.rel that was included in the file. Paste the stgmansion.pac into "projectm\pf\stage\melee". This will make the stage playable.
To change the stage select screen icons, you will need BrawlBox. Open up the common5.pac found in "projectm\pf\system" and click the + located next to sc_selmap_en. Then click the + on MiscData[80], and finally click the + on Textures(NW4R). Use the up and down arrow keys to locate the files you wish to replace, and replace them by right-clicking them, pressing 'Replace', and then selecting the corresponding file from the zip. Once done, click "OK" and move on to the next texture, until finished. Save common5.pac and exit BrawlBox.
Or you can be lazy like I usually am and just remember that Dracula's Castle has been replaced
New beta screenshot for the upcoming Mario Bros. stage! The only version I have right now is one which uses the NES textures due to a slight problem with the original Brawl ones (If anyone knows how to make textures tile instead of stretch I could use some help ), but its still far from finished. My next steps are to arrange more than one platform, and make the stage look a lot less bland by adding back in the pipes, among making some other enhancements.
Sadly it seems unlikely that I'll be finished by the weekend as I had hoped, due to some other major things I have to get done, but it hopefully shouldn't be much longer after that.
The Mario Bros stage is going well, but as I've been working on it I've been learning some new things about stage modding that I didn't know before. As such, I've revisited my first two releases and made various slight improvements. The Luigi's Mansion updates are very insignificant (read: entirely unnoticeable), but I felt that they were still worth making. The Onett M updates are more significant, particularly for those with a platformed version.
If you've already downloaded them, Onett M is the only one that is likely worth updating.
As always, check the main post for changelog and download links.
Now that you mention it, it is a similar course. I'm not sure if I'd be able to pull that off, but I might try that at some point (or, if someone else does, feel free)
Hello everyone! As I was playing on New Pork, I ran into a small problematic glitch where I fell through the tiny crack in between the platforms (as Mewtwo, no less). I was not able to recreate it when I tried, but I figured it was worth fixing anyway, so I did. Re-downloading the stage is advised, although the glitch seems extremely rare.
In other news, here's a sneak peek at a new stage I'm working on, which will hopefully be released soon:
It's Casino Night Zone, from Sonic the Hedgehog 2! It's very loosely based off a stage from one of the Super Smash Flash games.
I also updated my non-stage work section to include an entire 1 extra BRSTM! (Extravagant, I know)

If all goes according to plan, yes (and what's more, hopefully in the next few days)! I think my favorite thing about the zone is its awesome music, so for that reason alone I decided that this needs to be a balanced stage!
Casino Night Zone is up! Read the main post for information and links. This will be my last major stage hack for a while, as I'm going to be visiting family (and therefore will not have my desktop). I will have my crappy laptop, so minor stage hacks are not entirely out of the question. I'll hopefully be able to get back to stage modding in early July when I return.
