6/15 & 6/16 (if necessary) Tournament Greensboro NC

The Tournament will be hosted at the (Quaker Village Location) Digital Lifestyle Center on 5609 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410 - available by phone at: 336-855-1337.It is starting Friday, 6/15 at 2 pm est, and depending on the turnout also 6/16 at the same hours . Entry fee will be around $13-15 with a prize for 1st and second place.

Please give a notice if you plan on coming so that we may guage the amount of people coming so we can see if we need 2 days rental or not. One more issue is gamecubes,T.V.s and controllers, if you are coming please bring your gamecube a T.V.(not everyone needs to bring one there are 6 there) and controllers, or at least 1/2 of all coming players bring controllers please.

Hey Sorry if you're supicious but i assure you this is going down. Ive never been to this site because i was just told about it by a friend ^^;. Trying to attract a broad range of competition to make it more fun. The store is just for competitive gameplay, it has xbox 360s, ps3, wii, alienwares etc, we will be renting the venue and doing prizes with entry fee. The reason it's so far in advance is to give local students a chance to play while we're on break. I assure you this is credible, but if you have doubts call the store and ask for John, the guy there im working with to set it up, you can also ask me or him any other questions you may have. So if you're coming, like i said, leave a bit of notice to guage turnout.

As far as you personally, how long have you been playing smash? And did you just recently find out about advanced techniques and the such?

About me: I play a falco main, i can: Wave shine, wave dash, pillar, short hop blaster, dash dance etc.. My lower tier seconds are gannondorf and young link. Ive been playing smash a while now as have my friends around here, but have yet to see real competitive play, which is why I wanted to start a tourney. I am not a newbie to ssbm for all those wondering, but i definately need some matches under my belt to guage myself.

This has peeked my interest, the fact that it is in summer will mean much more freedom and probability of comming (unless job work gets in the way, but I'll try to avoid that if possible.) Hey guys. Me and my a few of my friends at Greensboro College are very excited about this. None of us have been to a tournament before, but we've been playing for a couple years, so we'll be interested to see what it's like. At least 3 of us will be coming, maybe one or two more. Hey, this seems pretty freaking ssweet, and right during my tournament dry-spell too! I'll have to check with peoples to see if I can come; and it also depends on if I get a job too. If I do come though I would be there with 1-3 other people, a full setup, and two spare controllers for the forgetful to use.

I hope I'll get to mario ditto someone; I missed out on that last tourney I went to.
