Dark Pit is a character in the game.

I think they're asking why Dark Pit was promoted to a character, and not relegated as an alternate costume.

In which case the answer would be the same as the Lucina-Marth situation -- Dark Pit had certain gameplay and/or physical qualities that were deemed distinct enough to warrant a promotion to playable status.

Seems like every other character this could have applied to has already been turned into a separate clone. We got the Koopalings (allegedly) and Alph as costumes. hopefully Sakurai crammed a few more characters in this way as well.

- more experimentation with meta knight. His up b recover had a 2nd hit I hadn't noticed until now. At the peak of the recovery.

- you CANNOT cancel the dash ANIMATION. Only running with shield.

- Metaknight was given some
Harsh landing lag on his swipe aerials.

- Sheik's landing lag is non-existent EXCEPT when she lands after using needles. It's small though.

- her fair doesn't gimp like Melee, but it's back to having that horizontal knockback.

There is also hope for DLC where this can be applied better to some characters. (Daisy, Wolf, etc...)

I don't really think random palette swaps are worth the risk for him. Whole other characters/real alts may be, though, like FD Link and Alph.

Really sucks that Sakurai added 8 wire frame mac costumes but did not add the remaining 4 Yoshi's. White, Orange, Brown, and the last I forget.

If tiers aren't broken by customization I'd see him in B tier just because of his damage

I wouldn't worry about tiers just yet guys, they take a lot of time and dedication to fully determine, there's still a LOT we don't know about each individual character, and then there's custom moves <3

No. Its little mac's hoodie. its signature detail is not the fact that its pink. other wise i would say yes.

Low is exaggerating, but I hope Robin and Palutena are mid tier at best. I don't want they to be overused like Fox, Diddy, Meta Knight, etc

And besides, these aren't even all the characters. We don't know how the leaked characters, or even others (like Lucina, yet unknown characters) can mix up even what little we know now.
