Smash 3DS 3DS Exclusive Stages.

How does a random city represent well the Pokémon series? They could have picked so many better places to represent XY. Like:

Spoiler: Geosenge Town with the ultimate weapon

Spoiler: Tower of Mastery

Spoiler: Anistar City with the Sundial

Spoiler: Team Flare Secret HQ

There are plenty of better places to use as a stage in Smash.

Prism Tower/Lumiose City is an extremely poor representation for a game with so many beautiful places like Pokémon X and Y.

Edit: Speaking of XY, I would kill to have this song playing in Prism Tower:

While I think Lumiose is a good representation of the Kalos region, being the captial city of Kalos and a sort of modern Saffron City, (God I just realised how much I want that or PokeFloats in Smash 4 now) I would absolutely adore Geosenge Town, maybe with Az's Floette floating about in the background.

On another note, do we know the music to any of the stages yet?

I'll agree with that. I'm not a large fan of all the travelling stages we've been getting so far. But while it would be nice to see more interaction with Prism Tower, I'm also happy it's a neutral stage. So I'm not too fussed.

Personally though, I'd love to see a Black City/White Forest in some way or another. Sort of clashing with each other or something.

Not too acquainted with the Mario & Luigi series. But Luigi's Psyche or Bowser's Innards both sound like they'd make for interesting stage design.

so the problem really is your own personal preference which is fair enough

but also remember that smash and x & y were in development at the same time at first he already said that greninja was based off his concept art most so theres a good chance that he picked prisim tower while they were still working on most of kalos he defiantly would of decided upon before x & y were even out

My only hopes concerning returning stages are Big Blue, Great Bay and Fountain of Dreams, three of the most awesome stages in SSB history IMO.

Fountain of Dreams should totally be a returning stage for the 3DS. That place will look gorgeous in 3D. Though I am hoping returning stages aren't a reason for the game to not feature new stages for certain series. It is cool to have Jungle Japes back, but I want a new Donkey Kong stage and if Fountains of Dream is back, I still want a brand new Kirby stage as well.

Yep, I so want Fountain of Dreams to return. It was both awesome, beautiful, and actually fun to play on. I also wish to get another kirby stage after that. One that hopefully isn't a grass stage.

I'm probably the only person in existence who would kill for the Oubliette from Metroid Prime Hunters.

Yes, I'm aware that it's a forgettable title for most and one that everyone wants to ignore, but really, it has the potential for a stage. Set the fighters at the top of the arena, and have Gorea appear as a hazard or even stage boss.

It's unlikely that Metroid gets another stage, but I'd play on this all the time if it happened.

Why is it unlikely? There is no Metroid stage announced for the 3DS yet.

And since Sakurai is mostly representing the portable Nintendo line on the 3DS version, I can only see a place from Fusion or Metroid 2 as competition.

I don't get why DK should not have it's own stage besides Jungle Japes, from what I remember, there are a few dk handheld games, including stuff like a sequel to the original dk, sequel to the country series, and even a remake of returns, and hell, if they really want to be lazy, they could just throw in a Mario vs DK stage and say it's from Donkey Kong.

If Sakurai is going by that rule (even with remakes), then a new StarFox 64 stage is extremely possible
