SSB64 Tournament will start on FRIDAY July 13, 2007 during the night. I recommend everyone come with a group for the full three days.

Travel Information: Two options are obvious if you plan to travel in via something other than car. Please fly into either SBN or one of the Chicago airports. If you plan on flying into Chicago, there are many buses that ride into the South Bend airport or Notre Dame, both of which we will arrange to pick you up from.
Preferred Wed. pick-up times - 6 PM - 10 PM
Preferred Thurs. pick-up times - 8 AM - 12 PM

ENTRY FEE (This is subject to change):

$75
This includes housing, food, and entrance to ALL tournaments (i.e. the melee tournament).

I am currently working with KishPrime to lower the price and create an exclusive ssb64 tournament.

IT IS VITAL THAT EVERY GROUP BRINGS AN N64 WE NEED SETUPS!!!!

Tournament Rules:

•Double Elimination
•All matches are best of 3, with finals best of 5.
•5 stock
•Ten minutes time limit
•Ties broken by lives/percentage
•Items OFF

Stages/Characters:

••Stages available: Peach's Castle, Hyrule Temple, Saffron City, Dreamland and Congo Jungle
••If a player plays Ness, he may demand a re-pick if Saffron City is selected as a random stage, however if the opponent is the loser he has the right it counter-pick Saffron City.
••All other stages banned
••First round stage is random or agreed upon by both players
••Advanced Slob Picks - Loser may choose the next stage or elect to go random, then winner may choose to change characters, then loser may change characters
••Double Blind pick may be called at any time

Erm wait a sec. $300 guaranteed. Could go up to $500 if things fall right.

We're not sure we can lower the price, as this is included with MELEE-FC entry on www.mlgpro.com. We also don't have additional space in the church. This is the biggest melee tournament in the country, so it's a huge event held every year. We're doing SSB64 this year in addition to standard 64 tournaments.

To guarantee yourself a spot, you need to bring a N64, or have a friend bring one. We're allowing up to 64 people to enter, and the people who bring 64s will have first priority.

that was until bluezaft had his pro tourney where I made a profit of $3

but yeah that is how that goes.

We'll do something in the future, Dan. We gotta organize the canadian ssb64 players and someday do a tourney IN canada, doesnt matter where just somewhere in canada.

I think we should also include melee though itd be very very wise since I know tons and tons of people in this city who play melee.

I really would like to attend a tourney with ssb64 though, thatd be sex.
