PANELISTS: dmbrandon, Doom, Zucco
(btw, we don't have a lead panelist)
Due to these recent events, we in 100% Juice have decided to break off from the New Jersey Power Rankings and create our own system. We believe this is a more fair, unbiased, and accurate ranking list and will satisfy the needs and wants of the New Jersey Brawl community in a superior fashion.
RANKINGS RULES - In order to be ranked, you must satisfy these prerequisites:
STIPULATIONS REGARDING SET WEIGHT - Question on how much your set counts for? Look here:
RANKINGS FORMAT - The rankings will look different from the traditional 1-10/15 power ranking that the New Jersey power rankings. Rather than numbering each rank individually from 1 to 10/15, we will instead be grouping players into tiers based on relative skill/accomplishment level and ordering them alphabetically. For example, if the season's rankings are
1. ADHD
2. Atomsk
3. MalcolmM
4. Zucco
5. dmbrandon
6. Inui
7. Keitaro
8. Doom
9. Orion
10. Big M
then the new system would have it look like this
SS: ADHD
S: Atomsk
A: dmbrandon, MalcolmM, Zucco
B: Inui, Keitaro
C: Big M, Doom, Orion
We feel that this eliminates any room for bias and, by default, settles any very close spot disputes.
SEASON LENGTH - Recently, the length of a particular season and the amount of accessible tournaments in it has been the topic of much controversy. The season was extended once and almost twice, and we'd like to avoid that happening again. From now on,
one ranking season will last for either the time it takes for SIX New Jersey tournaments with at least 24 entrants (if less, at least five (5) power-ranked players must have entered) to be hosted, or a maximum of 90 days. The season will end immediately after the ninetieth day or the sixth tournament.
That said, here is the

RANKINGS RULES - In order to be ranked, you must satisfy these prerequisites:
- Must have entered at least three tournaments, two of which are within the tristate (New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania) area
- Must be a full-time (or as close to it as you can get) resident of New Jersey
- Must submit an entirely factual win/loss record every season OR confirm EVERY attended tournament on AllisBrawl
STIPULATIONS REGARDING SET WEIGHT - Question on how much your set counts for? Look here:
- All tournament sets with an entry of $5 or more and at least 8 entrants and no restrictions placed on character selection will be used to determine rankings
- Money match sets for $5 or more involving main characters between two New Jersey residents will be used to determine rankings. For a money match to count, it must be mutually agreed upon by both players and a panelist, as well as supervised by a panelist
- Money match sets for $10 or more involving main characters between a New Jersey resident and an out-of-state player will be used to determine rankings. For a money match to count, it must be mutually agreed upon by both players and a panelist, as well as supervised by a panelist
- The weight of sets is as follows: tournament set (1.0) > money match (~0.8) > character-locked money match (~0.7)
- Losses in both money matches and tournament will be used as penalization, weight of losses is based on the skill gap between the two players
