By the way, what should the tense of "move" be in the above sentence, and what would be a better way to phrase the sentence? I'm tired, and my grammar is failing me.

It doesn't stand out as wrong so, but I'd put it differently. I'd put it as: "I'd be extremely grateful if a mod were to move my topic here."
