I'm sorry for this, but you hit me at a bad time. My bull**** healthcare provider just charged me over $800. I was told that my monthly premium would go up about $50, which I was already upset about, but now this is happening and I've had both my wages and my hours severely slashed because of this ****ing pandemic and I can't afford this **** and I don't know what I'm going to do. So you can **** right off with this bull****. Capitalist healthcare companies are ****ing evil. We should follow the example of the rest of the civilized world and not make our citizens have to choose between being healthy or ****ing paying rent, eating, etc. **** your bull****.

The free market ideal depends on the idea that you have a choice to turn down services if you think they're too expensive. However, when it comes to things like healthcare, sometimes you just don't really have a choice, especially if your illness or injury is life-threatening.

We're already paying taxes anyway. May as well redistribute some of them into something everyone is going to need at some point in their lives so we don't have to depend on insurance companies designed to make a profit that will try and pay as little as they can get away with.

Imagine you or a loved one are unable to afford a life saving surgery, and as a result, end up dying. Nobody should have to die because they didn't have enough money. And it gets even worse for those who have major disabilities or health problems altogether, as they will most likely spend their entire lives flushing their money down the toilet for medical bills. One of my good friends who I graduated with has a rare brain condition called Moyamoya, which can prevent blood flow from reaching the brain, thus causing a stroke. Around 10th grade, she had a stroke, and her family had to set up a gofundme just to afford all of the medical bills. JUST THINK ABOUT THAT. Now do you understand why the US Healthcare system is a ****ing disaster? The US is the only country that makes you pay for medical care.
