sadly my job has these signs posted everywhere and many of my co-workers flat out ignore them. It doesn't help that I'm in a blood red trump state, where most customers refuse to even wear a mask, and many coworkers and customers still believe this is all a hoax.

I'm at the point where if i could beat the holy living **** out of all of them without getting fired, I would. These assholes don't see or hear the kinds of things my wife has to go through as a nurse, how many covid patients she's seen and the conditions they've been in(young and old), how many she's already seen or had to hear about a few days later that have died from it.

All because some dumbasses refuse to put a piece of cloth over their faces and instead of listening to medical experts, listen to a lying con-man who from the very first day he became "famous" in the 60s was even then known as a lying cheating sleazeball.

This is why I'm glad I don't go to school anymore. At this point, we need a mandatory mask mandate for indoor public places, with fines and potential jail time for repeated offenses for refusing to wear a mask. It was done during the Spanish Flu pandemic, and it should be done now. The fact that our country is barely enforcing any regulations is ****ing pathetic.

In Japan, wearing fave masks during the winter months if very common and is expected by teachers as they constantly deal with children. For me when I teach, I wear a face shield as my job is heavily dependent on kids watching my mouth movements to reproduce the English sounds. But, even though japan is a mask wearing country more often than not, you do get teachers who will pull masks down past the nose. I try to keep mine up when I’m not doing the face shield but my mask does slip down. Abd we do get a few teachers who refuse to mask up cause we don’t have face mask mandates. Not surprising that three of them who refused to wear a mask were our first virus cases in the small town I live in....
