I'm trying to get everyone into Elite Smash and the remaining characters die early to cheese and/or campy. This stuff is degeneracy.

@GamerZardEX Well, I wasn’t really talking about Smash. Just generally. But is that really a thing when it comes to online or competitive Smash? Or ANY fighting game?

Camping is a tradition in fighting games. People do it to force unsafe approaches.

Cheese varies from game to game though.

depends....actual tournaments and places with online rankings such as Nerf_0 on twitch? DO whatever works, no matter how frowned upon. You might get a bad rep for it, but in the case of offline tournaments, you paid money to be there, and money is (usually) the prize. And rankings channels like Nerf_0 are there to show which players are the best there, not who play the friendliest.

Online in general/friendlies(especially friendlies, unless y'all are both doing some sort of serious training/practice) it's a bit different.....remember the opponent does kind of want to enjoy the game too. Go for flashy exciting stuff, and not just trolling the **** out of em.

I think you need to train with the characters you haven't mastered yet before you go online with them. Otherwise, you'll get rekt no matter how good you are. Knowning how a character plays and mastering them is important if you want to get them all in Elite Smash.
