When I first fired the game up, I just went with who I mained in the last game, which was :diddy:. He turned out to be really good again which was nice, even if people thought he sucked at the beginning. I also like :4fox: and :4peach: though.

As of now, there is no Fox/Meta Knight for Smash 4. It would have been :rosalina: if not for the patch. :4diddy: is no where near the level of :foxmelee: or :metaknight:, he's just overused at the moment because he's easy to use. Smash 4 will be the most balanced Smash game.

I'd imagine they can DI slightly left or right but I would think you could still follow up since you can Up-B while dashing, making it just a matter of timing.

Reading through, the ones that I think are conceivable and aren't a bit much are: Fox - Sunglasses (James). Pokemon - Shiny colours. Toon Link - Outset Island clothes. Lucina - Mask. Robin - Hood.
