    Nanaka's overly physical because that's how she can read minds, a bit different than Kotori, but it's still mind reading so meh. About the hat thing, remember one of the choices in Nanaka's route when she's buying hats? Well, the other Shirakawa heroine (Sayaka from Suika) wears a hat that's similar to one of the hats in that choice. The one for rich people IIRC.

    Oh and Mako is the default "you didn't raise enough flags for anyone else" route. That also makes it the shortest. :(

    Ahhh the first Da Capo. I should actually finish it sometime. Lost everything I did on it since I had to reformat my laptop :(. Oh well, I remember most of what happens so maybe I should just hit skip.

    You know, even though I didn't like the Koko route that much, her expressions are sometimes just too cute. Nanaka's got some cute ones as well.

    Something to note about the themes. Minatsu, Yume, and Nanaka have arranged themes of Miharu (DC), Nemu (DC, her grandmother), and Sayaka (Suika/Suika A.S.+). Sakura has an arranged version of her own theme (DC). I nostalgia'd hard when I heard these after playing DC and Suika A.S.+ and noticing the references to the prequel. DC has a pretty similar feel, but Suika has a sort of mystery thing around it, with the routes having something to do with someone's death.

    You can probably find a torrent of it. I managed to find one of Shuffle!'s OST.

    About the stone thing, I had to do that for Anzu and Minatsu. I liked them so much. After their routes, it felt different to see them back in their original personalities, especially Minatsu. :(

    I got this VN a friend told me about. Titled Flyable Heart. It's so pink and bright, but I like it for some reason. I didn't get far, and I don't think you should either. The translation is done, but there needs to be editing. Names and things are translated literally (a girl's name is translated to Rice Wing Constipated Clothes) and sentences get cut off. The cool thing is that your guy's family name is Katsuragi. I went ZOMGZOMGZOMG.

    Haha. Sorry I haven't been around the past two days. And yeah, Asakura sisters don't start until doing three of the others. Saving Yume for last because she looks like her grandmother Nemu from the first DC. Looks like you might complete this before me :p

    This tournament is just proof that the BBR recommended ruleset is and always was garbage. No LGL and crazyily stupid stages just killed some sets.

    lolwut only 3 decisions? Meh I guess it's a VN for those who don't wanna make a lot of choices and like a little bit of fighting. Even though I haven't played a lot of VNs, I'm assuming that more choices can make a difficult VN, seeing as how some choices affect the others or even create new choices to make. Da Capo, Suika A.S.+, and several others have routes open up after going through it once. One VN that I can't wait for an English patch for is Key's Little Busters! EX. There's one route that requires you to play through the game several times IIRC.

    Anyway, try picking up other VNs from MangaGamer.

    Da Capo II. DL, I would try to actually buy it, but then my parents would check the mail and be all: "WTF is this?" and give me a scolding and tell me not to play it. Yeah it's the usual kind of VN.

    You refer to Smash at the Shore 1 and 2? Yeah, that's about it and he's doing more Clash of the Titans stuff. I went to the first Smash at the Shore for Melee and couldn't make the second one. I just wish there was more down here.

    Make sure there's an english patch for it. Otherwise good luck trying to figure out how to play the RPG parts. I played a trial of a VN that had fighting. Was so boring to me. It's just you playing a rock-paper-scissors-esque game with 6 battle formations. Takes forever to get done.

    Oh and I noticed something that made me happy. There;s a girl from Da Capo who fills the idol role. Story had the same basis as Kanon. Both feared loneliness/being alone again.

    Last thing. I was watching the Agel Beats! OVA and it ended up with people suffering. I lol'd cause it said: "BAD END." at the end. I literally lol'd and went: "Oh Key. Why not just make a VN out of this?"

    :O 1st season was over. The latest chapter advertised reruns, but that doesn't matter to us now does it? The only cool thing about it is that the reruns start on my birthday!

    Yeah my friend told me the same thing. Said he wishes he was single for a while again. But he seems so happy. Though it was hilarious when I ran into him and his girlfriend he was surprised to see me and his girlfriend goes: "Oh you're surprised to see him but not me?" I then proceeded to tell him to hit the quick save button and make another decision, but life doesn't have such a thing. But yeah, it'd be nice to have one.

    Truth be told I don't really like playing with people I meet over the internet at the moment, since me and my brothers share one account. Sorry, just wanna make sure my parents or brothers freak out and start asking who person 'X' is and end up telling them I met 'X' over the internet. When I get my own account then maybe.

    Yes it is. Hopefully someone torrents Da Capo 2 and I can play to my heart's content. Also with it being a break, we get Live again. Gonna hope for a RB 3 drum set to rock out with, with a side of VN gameplay (still don't understand why VNs are considered games if all you do is make decisions). And of course, we got the bi-weeklies every other week. Couple that with most of my college app stuff done and it's the perfect winter...so far. Wish I had a girlfriend to go with all this.

    Umm... Most VNs are associated with hentai in form or another. Either the game itself or any sequels/prequels. If it interests you, Manga Gamer's site has an all ages section. One other VN I remember that I don't believe has hentai is Clannad. You might have heard of the anime. Was ****ing epic.

    Yes I agree. Lil' Shiori was cute. I was tempted to screencap.

    Oh and I was reading KimiKiss. Got up to the rich girl part. Assumed she was an idol and rich girl. Later, it went rich girl route. I saw the ending before it happened. Can't wait till I have enough VN experience to be able to truly cosplay as Keima. WOOT!

    Yeah most do end up indecisive. But I do remember reading a volume of Love Hina and how Keitaro confessed to Naru.

    And you've played VNs before? I only have a few and never really paid attention to them much.

    Shiori route completed! I liked how they added the omake at the end of the episode. "There are a few embarrassing parts." Also: lol the librarian girl in Keima's game looks like Shiori. and they used the beginning of the full 8 minute opening.

    EDIT: I found a manga based on a dating simulator. I think I got addicted to VNs now after dling a couple. Got so excited I got 100% CG on one. And I mean REALLY excited. I even started watching the anime adaptation of said VN. And now I'm hyped for Christmas Eve because the sequel to my first VN is being released in English by Manga Gamer.
