Yea, I guess I'm lucky, most people flinch after hitting the ground on the back of their head, but somehow I always manage.
My style's all about spacing (reason why I'm a marth main), but when it comes right down to it, I'm a much better puncher then kicker, unfortunately. My grappling is also pretty good. I'm better at weapons fighting then unarmed (especially short-swords, staves, and knives, knives are my personal specialty).
That's why I can instantly tell who's a trained swordsman when they're holding a weapon.
But ultimately, my biggest thing is I can outspace pretty much anybody. Kali + fencing = amazing spacing.
Yea, I know that one really well.
I sort of got pegged as the guy who can't feel pain by consistently getting my opponent's into guard after that (basically, if your opponent uses his weight properly, he can end up with his legs wrapped around your chest, one of the best positions in grappling for him to be in, it's called guard).
I use it to counter clinches though, just nobody but me ever manages it.

Good, I should've started that a long time ago, I could pull up some grappling vids whenever we rediscuss mewtwo vs. samus.

Wario has the girth, but he doesn't really have the training. Also, he's gonna be stronger, especially with the feet. Remember, diddy is a heck of a lot stronger then a human, and in overall strength he didn't beat out lucario much, and he'd KILL wario in strength.
I understand SOME of them. One's that we established very strongly last discussion as one character being beyond nerfed, that's ok. MK is just stupidly terribad right now. Also, DDD's attributes are ridiculously bad against charizard, and peach basically WAS discussed already, since Zelda and Sheik have the same basic skillset.
But this match we were talking about 2 skilled fighters with unique options, where one was clearly better at one category, and the other was clearly better at others. It was a good legit match-up, and a close one too. There was no excuse for closing it that early.
Edit: You mind just responding on the debate to keep it going very obviously. I know you disagreed with me before so you've probably got the material.

The thing is, since these discussions don't have a set time limit, we need to allow reasonable time to respond. Expecting responses to always be within a few hours isn't reasonable.
I was in the middle of making a post, then I had a meeting. I 90% researched it too. I mean there was somebody disagreeing with something I established very firmly last time Zelda was up, and it was being taken quite seriously.
Nobody really dealt with the central question of "how often zelda should kill", because projectile weapons are quite powerful, especially arrows.
So yea, of course I minded, this needs a heck of a lot more discussion. This one deserves to probably be a days long match-up because we're talking about two skilled fighters with unique advantages.
You know what, you suck for letting him change the match-up so fast.
People have RL and real jobs, I was in meetings and I didn't have time to just respond immediately.
