The term JV came from a Melee player with the tag "JV3X3." And a JV doesn't nessicarly mean a perfect game. If your playing with 4 stocks and win with 0% and 2 stocks remaining it would still be a JV3. JV2 if you had 1 stock left ect...

Almost an 86% win rate after 1873 matches. Most of those games have been played with Toon Link, Cloud, Jigglypuff, and Roy. (Pre Cloud)

Its not an ability Link / Toon Link have that can beat Gannondorf. It is specifically the Master Sword which can only be wielded by one who possesses the Triforce of Courage. So Link / Toon Link are the only ones who could KILL Gannondorf although he could in theory be beaten by someone else...
