    Project M on PC.

For me the best solution was a high-end gaming PC squeezed into one of these http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=536 which fits just fine in a big back pack with a couple GC controllers + adapter, all for the price of a mediocre laptop. There are smaller cases though (or steam machines...

    Noob Question Need Help

Just search "wii component cable" in Amazon or wherever... that's literally what it's called.

Project M 3.6 Online via Dolphin Netplay Setup + Optimization Guide

If you want a laptop for Smash PM all it needs is a dedicated video card of some sort and an intel processor that can reach a clock speed of 2.9GHz (either base or with boost) Maybe an AMD processor of similar clock speed can do the same but in that case i couldn't tell you from experience. My...

    Noob Question Need Help

The yellow video cable is called Composite and it's a terrible thing to use in a HDTV. Get the component cable for Wii (the one in which video is 3 separate cables: Red, Blue and Green) and your experience should improve leaps and bounds. Also if your TV has game mode you should use it always...

    Video lag question

Basically what Narpas_Sword said, just remember to turn off V-sync in dolphin to reduce input lag even further. Also setting internal resolution to "1x native" and disable power saving (high performance mode) will help if you're having performance issues on a laptop.

Project M 3.5 running via Dolphin question

99 times out of 100... audio stutter indicates performance problems. Have you turned "display FPS" on to see if you're inadvertently losing frames during gameplay? (if it ever goes below 60 it's a problem) If it's a performance issue your only option might be to lower all settings (resolution...

    Project M Social Thread Gold

I'm playing Mario's 3D World in my Wii U since noon I'd have to be crazy to think the devs will release soon can't bring myself to clear a stage, just jump and run about Nothing else to pass the time 'till 3.5 comes out Other games aren't helping to distract me from the wait Good games, bad...

Smash 3DS what would you change about smash 3ds?

In the list of special smash modes (Heavy smash, Fast smash, Metal smash, etc) add a Smooth Lander Smash mode, where smooth lander is on for all characters (without annoying extra stats). You'll solve 80% of all the current smash's problems right there.

Melee Featured In EVO 2015 Trailer

    1) How can we have the slightest idea of how balanced such a complex game is after less than a year out? 2) If balance is so important why did Brawl kick Melee out of EVO when it came out? Unless you're suggesting Brawl's balance isn't terrible compared to any smash...? Could it be that the...

Melee Featured In EVO 2015 Trailer

I could explain it to you, but it would be a long post. Short version: We like a game and they like another. If their game gets enough support ours is taken away (there's no such thing as "both"). [/end of short version] Long version: Let's take "we" above as people who prefer Melee and "they"...

Event - E3 Invitational 2014 Addressing the Smash 4 hate

Define "exploit". As I explained in another thread, things like L-Cancelling were 100% intentional in Smash64, and so they most evidently must have been in Melee. Their removal wasn't bugfixing, it was Sakurai changing his mind about Smash... and most of this new vision seems to hold true for...

Event - E3 Invitational 2014 Am I the only one truly disapointed?

This is where people are fundamentally wrong. L-Cancelling and SmashDI were 100% intentional since Smash64. They were even explained in-depth in the japanese official website for SSB64. From this it's not so crazy to assume the AT's we found in Melee weren't so unintended after all. My theory...
